Never heard about 5ORCERY either (and as it's PC only, it's moot anyway), but I realised you're the voice behind some great video tutorials - and that's definitely worth a vote. Done. Brought it up to 87, I did. Best of luck with the contest.

Yes. I'm asking for one whole mouse-click in return. Whats the problem?
ahh.. You're asking us to pad the ballot box on this competition in exchange for software that has always been free. How can you not see the "problem" in that?

In that case, I have some free patch banks floating about and some freely released music.. Therefore, you owe me something for it. :P

Your software is not as free as you consider it. You want it to be free but you are asking for something, however minor, in return.

It is similar to the local PBS radio station calling non-donating listeners "Freeloaders." Which is the exact reason I do not donate to them.

It is great to ask for help in your endeavors to win something you truly want (and I wish you all the luck in that!!) However, I do not think it is so great to tie your freeware into anyone owing you a thing.

You could have simply asked for help..

Unfortunately I can't use 5ORCERY because I switched to Mac but I liked IQ4gui a lot back those days when I was on PC!

I really do not see the issue, You could ignore Dan's extremely simple and almost zero time-consuming request, No? Its not just free plug-ins that IIRs offers on his website, There is some sound advice gratis, Video tutorials for certain software that i presume he uses himself that i have not checked out but am pretty sure they are handy which again are gratis and well this is a community, So in good old spirit taking a couple of seconds of your time is not such a big favour to ask at all from my POV and hey again it ain't like you got someone pointing a .44 hand cannon to you head dude. It is not such the drama or veil of deception which you seem to make of it

Amen, I 'get' how some folk totally miss some forms of humour but the tonque-in-cheek style is so blatent even your regular american citizen would 'get' it for crying out loud...I am proud to have my british sense of messed up dark/pitch-black humour  but this one was as blatent as Laurel And Hardy
