Will do. Although I don't understand why the regular preset Load/Import is broken? It wasn't like that before...asseca wrote:Use "ChildVST FXPB" >> "Load"/"Save" instead ...

Hi, I really love your skins for voyager. I stumbled over it again as I didn't use it for a long time and wanted to get it to work again. But this time it is not possible for me. Tried it both ways. The installer and the manual way just don't work. I have a Windows XP 32 Bit system. The Voyager_GUI plugin doesen't show in my version of Cubase Essential 5. Even tried to start my PC after installation an refreshed my plugs in Cubase.Limeflavour wrote:Yes, I and Asseca have teamed up to make this skin happen.
Update!
Asseca has made a new installer for this skin, it's an .exe file.
I know some people dislikes exe files so the old installation instructions are still available at the bottom of this post.
For more information and screenshots visit:Flavours of Lime

How to install (With the new .exe installer):
*updated June 20th 2010
Voyager skin installerInstallation
If you DON'T have any other mGUI plugins installed:
Run the Voyager-lf.exe installer program to copy the folders+files into the VstPlugins folder.
--- OR ---
If you DO have any other mGUI plugins installed OR you DON'T want the skin-files in the VstPlugins folder:
Run the Voyager-lf.exe installer program to copy the folders+files to the asData folder.
Run asData\mGUIman.exe or asData\setVSTmGUIpaths.exe to automatically set the asData path in the registry.
Then copy/move the Arguru's Voyager.dll into the \asData\plugins folder.
How to install (Old way without the new .exe installer):
Link is in the 'quotebox'Installation:
mGui needs to be installed in you plugins directory, mine would be D:/Vstplugins.
So, now you've installed mGui and for me it would look like this D:/Vstplugins/Asseca
Download the skin file LF_Voyager_mGuiskin.rar and extract it to the /Asseca/ folder.
! This step is very important !
Now you need to download Voyager and install it to the Asseca/asData/plugins folder, if you already have voyager just move it to the same folder.
Start mGUIman.exe, it's located in the Asseca/asData folder. Click the "Update all Dlls" button in the top left corner.
Start your Vst host and load the "Voyager_Gui" plugin, enjoy!
If you want to change a skin or a presetbank, rightclick an empty space on the gui and you will get a popup menu where you can handle presets and skins.
I don't know what to do. Perhaps you can help me.
Thanks in advance

See if it loads in another host like Savihost (free).

Dunno what could be wrong, it should work by following the instructions.

Thank's for the replies. I got it to work with the installer, but had to place the voyager.dll manually to the plugin folder inside the Asseca folder. Unfortunately it does not run stable. The plug is freezing my Cubase when switching patches, never had that before. It's a shame because the view is lovely and the synth sounds good.Limeflavour wrote:Dunno what could be wrong, it should work by following the instructions.

Perhaps I did something wrong while installing, don't know.

Hi again and thanks to ya all. I think I got it now. I didn't recognize that I accidentally opened a dialog box with an unintended right click. I did not see it first because of the dark gui. Once I closed the dialog the synth worked again, hence I am happy. So absolutely no problem with the software and the user has once again learned something.Psychiatric Nurse wrote:Thank's for the replies.
