Well I just discovered they have a 10% CPU limit - that's their definition of "unlimited". I can understand that, but shutting you down with no warning is crazy.

Still seems a bit OTT to close down an entire site without warning given that it's the hit count and CPU that's gone haywire rather than bandwidth, which suggests an out-of-control spider (which can usually be easily solved by banning an IP address temporarily) or possibly a hack attempt on something like a Wordpress or contact-box script.
I guess as they're fairly cheap they have so many sites on the same server that they are very sensitive to any sudden loading changes. But there are a bunch of good hosts out there that are priced not that far away from their regular costs that are a lot more helpful.
