It's pretty hit and miss with my attempts to contact Zephod.
Anyone know if he's really serious about BLOK ? There's nothing going on at his forum -- you can't even sign up(I tried). Hope this isn't another good thing (BLOK) going to waste.....

The current status is -> waiting for me to finish off all my clientwork.
I've been booked pretty much fulltime for the last few months. As soon as the work is over again and I've had some rest, I'll be back on Blok as fulltime as I can give it
The current "beta" (371) has had very little issues reported (1 unreproducable one in Reaper) so I'm very close to declaring it "stable". The next featurepush will most likely involve me trying to get some sampling goodness in there as well as better control signal generation.
Greetings,
Stijn / Zephod

Yeah I saw that too.
We all have to pay the bills I guess, but if BLOK is a business for him, he should be more responsive. Lots of developers will sell you something, then you wait for fixes, updates whatever--using the reason/excuse they have to finish other work. Even if the product is cheap or you got a great deal, if you leave your customers hanging, they may or may not come to you when "you have time."
It isn't just here at KVR, it's all over the net. Zephod has a good reputation from what I gather due to his Buzz developing. But if you're Picasso and your paintings never get done what's the point?
No disrespect intended..

I own BLOK, and I love it as it is. But really, ANY sort of communication would be good. Just get on Twitter once in awhile or something, let people know you're still there.

I just found out about this software. I have a Nord Modular G1 expanded and I feel quite at home making patches, not really a newbie. I have been testing and creating patches for Sonigen modular for a few weeks and loving it A LOT. How do those of you who have been using Blok Modular for a while feel about it? I would like to hear some user experiences!

I just came across this synth in another KVR thread, and found this video-
I'm really liking the sounds. I went to the BLOK site, but so far can't find a list of modules. Am I missing it? What I'm really wondering is if it can load SFZ's and can do granular. But for the price, it definitely has my attention.

As of now it can't do any sort of granular stuff. Maybe that's planned for the future.

Thank you. I saw that before, but I didn't see things that were specific. For instance, on the home page it says "Additive, Subtractive and FM synthesis are all possible." So I was expecting to find a page listing things like an additive oscillator, etc. I know it can load .wav's but didn't see anything about SFZs. Still, it sounds mighty impressive.

Yeah, an additive oscillator would be fantastic, as well as some more...understandable modulation options.

Any news on the development?
I've own it for over a year and it's been very slow.
I loved it to begin with but then moved to more achieved modular solutions (KarmaFX and Sonigen).
Still, I'd like to see it grow ...

I thought (seen in the demo patches) you can use an Osc and feed another one for FM modulation even though FM Osc are not listed. Is this correct? I'm new to sound design.
I like its sound and I would like to use it to learn FM.
