DCAM: Synth Squad allows you to use PolyAT to modulate any synth parameter polyphonically via the TransMod system - the mod source is called Press+ (channel aftertouch is MnPress+).

I'm surpised that many soft synths support the feature. My question is what is the cheapest (priced) MIDI controller/keyboard that supports polyphonic aftertouch?

Don't think any cheap midi keyboard w poly AT really exist.. Akai MPD have them, but they're not keyboard (the poly part make more sense to be used on them then keyboard anyhow)Cuauhtli wrote:I'm surpised that many soft synths support the feature. I know this thread is nearly a year old but I found it because I was trying to get a feel for which VIs supported polyphonic aftertouch.Cuauhtli wrote:I'm surpised that many soft synths support the feature. The reason being is that I came across an post on Create Digital Music about a controller that supports polyphonic aftertouch in a cool way, and for a reasonable price.

Old Ensoniq keyboards for example. Else, yes, all Xils-Lab synths use polyAT, and most factory library preset have modulations for it.Cuauhtli wrote:I'm surpised that many soft synths support the feature. Not a "full size" controller keyboard (not even), but a cheap way to get Poly AT

It's quite odd to have such a "simple" controller with poly AT while many full sized synths and controllers (including e.g. the KingKorg) are shipped without even a simple channel aftertouch.fugazi81 wrote:Not a "full size" controller keyboard (not even), but a cheap way to get Poly AT

For me using a keyboard controller without any aftertouch is a no go.
My main masterkeyboard is a Yamaha Motif ES 7 workstation.
