But Comedy Central's Roast of David Hasselhoff would have been so boring if that video hadn't been ridiculed!

SAW75,

Sorry my sense of humor does not appeal to you. I found it rather amusing. Maybe you could break off half of the stick in your ass and share it with me?

I think this is really the most plausible route without making the display look out of place. We're looking into a few options right now and I'll keep you posted on how it's looking :)

:tu: Way to go! Already saw some MixControlPro adds .. on rekkerd.org for exemple.
Any word on when the beta version will be out?

Post

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I'm available to beta test. I just had to finish with a couple of other things. I tested the current MixControl.

When will the beta be going public (i.e. avaialble in user accounts)?

Cheers,
Nigel
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Thanks! Yes, the adds went out this week and will run until 7/31, the day before release.

The beta has taken us a little longer than expected, as we are making some FFT/EQ adjustments that were requested in the last page. We're looking to make the visual aids as flexible as possible, but it's taking a bit of time to complete. I'll keep everyone posted with the most current info as I get it :)

Not a problem, I've found your info on the previous beta testers list. We'll have a new beta to test very soon :)

Just a heads up, we are running a little late with the beta version of MixControl Pro - we've added the ability to change the color of all displays with hue/saturation/brightness controls! Now you can all change the color of these things as you see fit :) This addition has taken a bit to integrate, but we think it will be a very useful feature to aid in users with different screen brightness and eye conditions. I'll keep you posted and add some new screenshots later today.

I think we can all agree that this is more a "gimmick" than really a feature, but I'm still all in favor. Light green is not exactly my favorite color for displays, so (honestly) thanks a lot for letting me customize MC's look!

...let's hope that setting/saving it in one instance will apply the changed color preference to other (new) instances, also in x64 versions... in 1.07 x64 (hosted in Reaper x64 v3.x) I have to change the skin for every new instance I open - or put up with the default skin. :?

Yes. Definitely not a gimmick IMO. Quite useful IMHO. I appreciate it will not be of use to everyone but definitely not a gimmick for me.

Changing the color etc.? NO GIMMICK ! Every has there own sight issues, it is a great idea to have the function of changing the look and visual balance of plug ins, I wish more devs would add this feature. Looking to fore ward to using the new version :D

I think Izotope added some visual options to Ozone 4 around the time of it's release which were well received as well. IIRC in response to the opinions of their users on KVR. Of course no feature will please everyone but personally I am glad DNR have added the new visual options. :tu:
