No, we're of the opinion that the color control would increase the ability of users to actually use the software to their liking, as so many previous comments would suggest. Gimmicks do not increase usablility and do not enhance the user experience, so I would not consider this addition a "gimmick" really, but more of an aesthetic option for users who need it.chokehold wrote:I think we can all agree that this is more a "gimmick" than really a feature, but I'm still all in favor. Light green is not exactly my favorite color for displays, so (honestly) thanks a lot for letting me customize MC's look!DNR Collaborative wrote:we've added the ability to change the color of all displays with hue/saturation/brightness controls!
And yes, dancing animated figures would qualify as a gimmick, which we could implement, but we won't. No actual professional audio products have such features and we won't start that type of trend.

Thanks, D. We'd have to charge a lot for a "feature" like that. Maybe we can release a whole slew of them as an a la cart vst in the future.VitaminD wrote:

Now, why would you take a humorous comment such as that, from someone who admittedly knows nothing of audio production, and bring it to such an extreme? Chill. Learn to laugh once in a while, it may prevent that impending aneurysm. I'm just a public investor who has been handling this thread, nothing more.SAW75 wrote:Yeah, really funny. I didn't realize the comment was "humorous". A simple clarification was all that was needed. Perhaps I could ask for a refund for my recent purchase? I don't really like your attitude. I've been supportive throughout this thread and don't need you to talk down to me. Please PM if a refund is possible.DNR Collaborative wrote:Now, why would you take a humorous comment such as that, from someone who admittedly knows nothing of audio production, and bring it to such an extreme? Don't you think you're taking this a weeeee bit (read: entirely) too seriously? Good gravy..SAW75 wrote:I didn't realize the comment was "humorous". A simple clarification was all that was needed.
