Planned obsolescence. You buy a new computer, are forced to a new OS and have to upgrade all you apps. Apple at its best.

Converting all plugs and their respective security to the 'App Store' method + giving a percentage of your revenue to Apple each time is not something that would fly with anyone. Unlikely to happen.

Logic shouldn't be dumbed down to being a consumer product

Yeah it's great because it means people can speculate about anything :)

I think it will be bundled with a Unicorn that farts rainbows and every track you make with it will turn to gold.

With Apple's recent cloud computing pipe dreams I guess the main Logic X issue will be online read/write performance. :P
The good thing is, it will come pre-installed on your own virtual harddisk somewhere in cyberspace, 100% dummy proof, no more options or preferences to worry about ...
The future's so bright I gotta wear shades ! 8)

I really hope the tl;dr T&C's give Apple 100% ownership of all songs uploaded using Logic Cloud. That would be sweet!

Peace,
Andy.

I was referring to an "in app" purchase option for the Logic instruments that have previously been bundled with Logic, not to those of other developers.

everything is patched and up to date.
It works here. Probably something related to your system.

That'll be an option at least. In-app purchase for GarageBand / Logic from 3rd party developers and Apple itself will be very nice, since we can't sell them at the Mac App Store without being a standalone app.
