Seems very reasonable; but was worth a tryvalhallasound wrote:My philosophy is to pick a fixed price, offer a ridiculous amount of DSP goodness for that price, and stick with that price.

In all seriousness, if I offered a bundle price now, I would piss off a bunch of people who have bought both ValhallaShimmer and ValhallaRoom already. My philosophy is to pick a fixed price, offer a ridiculous amount of DSP goodness for that price, and stick with that price.

I think it's already amazing what you get for $50 here. Other reverbs of this quality (if there even is another reverb of this quality) are way more expensive.

I've had another user report that ValhallaRoom and ValhallaShimmer are working for them in Lion. Woo!

I just set up a poll in the Valhalla DSP forum at KVR (hint: just keep scrolling down...), asking whether people prefer the Dark reverb modes in ValhallaRoom, or the original "bright" modes:

I'd love to hear from you about this!

I saw the poll earlier, but I couldn't commit to either choice. Two days ago, I started Bright, switched to Dark, adjusted the settings to my taste, and I really thought this was perfect, but then I switched back to Bright and that's the one I ended up with!

Well, I'm finally on board.
Any idea on how long before I get serial (or authorized .exe?)

As I said, just keep scrolling down. Should have named the company "AcmeDSP" or "AAADsp" or the like.ebow wrote:missed thatvalhallasound wrote:Valhalla DSP forum at KVR

Demo processing anvil samples I made some time ago in Reaktor 5 (with Reichatron by Matt Mower) - ValhallaRoom in Dark Space mode is inserted on the track, 2 automated sends go to differently tuned Valhalla Shimmer Verbs, various paramters like feedback, pitch and size automated on the fly in the 2 Shimmers - their outputs are send again into another ValhallaRoom DarkChamber Mode. A rather spacious result

Thank's - I'm sure you'll hear the magic some day, applied in small doses it's a real instrument...DubFox wrote:Nice demo
I still don't ''get'' Shimmer, will try more creative automation to see if I can hear the majik
