Nice sound. It is rather warm, but i do not think it lacks in brightness - that's just its character. It won't become a trace-lead favorite, sure.
BTW, the GUI looks veeeery "beta". I do not think this is a wise thing in today's overcrowded market.
It's not a "does-it-all" workhorse, but it really has a pleasuring, distinct sound, and might be a useful addition to the vst collection.

Sound is ok but nothing special. IMO a bit thin and remembers me more to Discovery. Yes, the GUI design is a bit.. hmm.. simple and bright.
But the GUI is not the biggest problem. I don't like sound and the filters.

Btw. @Jorge if you sell something, don't forget to add an imprint to your website!

Sounds nice, will have to check the demo.

Don't you just hate it when a number of people mention an issue with the synth but the developer bothers to address every other post except the ones that talk about the issue.

BTW, the synth seems a bit of a waste to me. Surely Discovery does the same thing? Why make a clone, instead of something really new and exciting?

With synths like impOscar 2, Synthix, Gladiator, ACE how can the dev even think this will stand to compete?

@HunterKiller, you should try the demo for some days. It will answer those questions.

@hunterkiller
It's rare a bunch of people don't complain about a GUI in here, everyone has their opinions, I see no point what so ever in George responding to those complaints, nothing is served. This is the GUI, I'm fine with personally. And the synth sounds great. Did you actually try it before casting your judgements on it? Doesn't seem like it going by your comments.

Wow. This sounds strong! I mean, really strong. Definitely one of the fattest sounding VSTi out there. This one doesn't sounds nothing like regular soft synth. This have good powerful character. Really good work George

However, I also don't like GUI. It is just too bright. Make it little darker. Also cpu-usage is kinda random. Mainly it is in 10% but sometimes it just jump on 35-40%. Uhm..

Hmm... I agree that is not yet a competitor to other synth. But the idea to have not a average emulation (like this wannabe Nord Lead emulation) is ok. May be it needs some improvements, better filters and a well designed GUI. But IMO it's on the right way.

In this case they are legitimate complaints.....it's too bright, has a lot of wasted space and looks amateurish in my opinion. Have you worked with Corona for long hours programming presets? If so then you'll find the bright white is harsh on the eyes and will lead to fatigue. The fact that George has failed to address the GUI simply means he has no intention of doing anything about the criticism.....his prerogative....but the GUI is the face of an instrument and the first thing potential customers encounter. If the GUI gives people a negative first impression that can't be good for sales....simple as that.

+1, sad but true :(

OMG, the GUI. My eyes hurt from it. But it sounds great though. 8)

funny how many people keep complaining and complaining and thereby reveal they don't have a single clue about synthesizers, be it "real" or a plugin. discovery is another synth, this one can do very different things. if i have a look at all the GUIs flying around here for selfmade plugins, THEN i REALLY get the creeps. besides, a wise guy sometimes holds back his words - means: the fact george doesn't respond to some points of criticism may very well mean he sees the point and is working on it - instead of saying "you're right" and then YOU guys keep begging "when is it solved, when is it solved"... just my 2 cents

quite heavy on cpu....
:?

Just checked the Demo out.
Nice.
I don't know what is happening with those oscillators ,but they sound beautiful.
I have just made sounds that belong on a Boards of Canada album in about 2 minutes.

I don't mind the GUI,it has caused me no problems and everything is where I expect it to be so I have nothing to report on it.yeah it would be amazing to see a GUI designed by a graphic designer like Flavours of Lime.
For now though I find the GUI ok and no problem.

Cpu seems to be ok for me.
I think the dev of this has done a really good job and the synth sounds very very interesting, yes the GUI could have been done by a better graphic designer but it is ok and works. The sound is there in bucket loads.
I like this. :)
Peace,
Steve

GUI like or not is everytime(!) a concern of personal taste, but if the synth sounds good, and here are till now nearly only replies like "sounds awesome", than is the gui only secondary, the primary part of the synth is always the sound

The cpu is sometimes really not gentle, but i think this is slowly normal, if you want great sound, you need a great cpu, same as for example Razor, sounds superb but eats easily my half cpu :hihi:
