There you go, I flipped it horizontal so it looks regular except the headstock logo which is backwards now (I use some free thing called 'Irfanview' as i am not a photoshop wiz/meddler by miles mate)

Yeah I'm hell excited about it. I've never played either before, but hey! Bass though is at least more familiar because of guitar. Really glad to have an alternative to always synths for basslines. This bass feels beautiful to play too.

Now I gotta find one bass amp in the IK store to tide me over till I buy the Ampeg pack at the end of the week.

I really, really love this bass. I'm demoing all the bass amps and it sounds fantastic through everything so far.

Also: apparently I love playing bass. A lot.

Here's mine:

Oh wow! A beauty. I play the 4 string version (SR-500) with P/J pickups, active EQ and flat wound strings. I love that bass.

Flat wounds sounds like a great idea! The scale length on mine (it's about 25 years old so the newer models might be different) is too short for it to ever get a good piano tone so I'll follow your lead.

especially if it has position marks drilled in the side with white enamel dots
