Hi adamtrance,
I am very impressed by your synth and I will buy it today.
But I have a question: I am hoping for other waveforms like square or triangle for the osc.
Do you plan this?

Ok, I understand :? ... Just one question: how is the synth state saving now, will it work even if there's an update at some point? I mean, are the parameter states saved with the project in a standard fashion, and can it be trusted to be future proof?

If I do a project that has a variation of a preset, save that project and load it up somewhere else, will the synth state be identical inside that project like it should, even if the local patch data was different?

Yes from now on, if you save a preset with version 1.1 any newer version will open it. Its just that there was a big mistake in version 1.0 and thats why it didnt work with 1.1. But from now it will work correctly :)

And what will be included, in this update?

The same thing is planned, as before: more accurate emulation of the detune ( i will maybe also do a comparison video from the real thing ), then midi cc values to the knobs, and maybe oversampling if i can do it in a cpu saving way.

Perhaps supersquare and supersine oscillators, too? :) Osc sync? Ringmod?

Feedback oscillator... ;_;

Oh, please, please, please, separately adjustable up and down pitch bend range!

JP6K is a gem. Looking forward to the update later. But I can safely say that 1.1 is a great buy, if you like the supersaw sound.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

But is there really no velocity sensitive amp in this synth? Or am I just not seeing it? Perhaps a demo limitation?

Never used a JP8000, but from what I have heard it definitely has one.

Post

There is no one at the moment, because some people want the velocity linked to volume, some want it for the cutoff, etc.. So I am trying to make a matrix or something but I dont know where to fit it yet.

Jp8000 does have velocity to Amp-I own a JP8000 as well as Adams JPk6 which is awesome-JPK6 saves me from having to set up my JP8000 when I want certain sounds the JPK6 produces.
I still use my JP8000,but I'm finding a lot of the time for speed I use JPK6 and when a session is loaded it's all there straight away.
Cheers,
Steve

If it had these OSC's there would be no need to own the real thing IMO.

I would be fine with just 2 knobs. One for amp-velocity and a other for filter. Maybe it's just me...

Do you have plans to update this anytime soon? I quiet like this synth, but drawing the velocity is just too painful.

Other small thing is that the amp is pretty slow when the attack is set to fastest possible. Nothing ground breaking though.

Thanks for the fast reply in any case.
