so today, both my email addresses got emails from beat707.com

which is a project i know williamk of wusik is involved in. ive not signed up to anything, ive even not been to their website, so how did they get them and my full name?
fancy a guess?

william, ive asked you to delete me from your email lists countless times over the years, and every times it happens again, you keep giving me excuses why each 'one more time' that its still there and promise that it wont happen again.

william you're a f**king lying spammer. again.

I got that email too. Didn't want to click 'unsubscribe' at the bottom as I'd never subscribed to it in the first place, and didn't want to tip-off the spammers that it was an active email address. I didn't realise it was related to Wusik - I'm not even a Wusik customer any more as I transferred my license! Not cool.

For what's it worth: I'm on the wusik mailing list and I did not receive anything from beat707.com. So in this case youn might be wrong about the culprit.

you might be naive enough to believe in that kind of coincidence, but william has been re-adding my email addresses to his mailing lists for half a decade now, all the time promising that its just a mistake and he really has deleted my information this time.

he's responsible alright.

I'm just wondering whether the server they are using is having issues...I get no email from beat707 even though I am subscribed to wusik's site....

Yeah, the company make an Arduino shield that william designed.

If you want to do something about William's blatant refusal to remove people from his mailing lists, click on the 'report this as spam' link, and say you suspect your address has been reused without permission from another mailing list you'd already unsubscribed from.

If you want to complain to the people involved, I suggest you try the -other- company involved in the site... try emailing

sales@ruggedcircuits.com

and asking them where they got your email address from.

I'm not commenting on what has happened over the past few years. I used "in this case" for a reason.

well it wouldnt surprise me if this was from a different (older) database from the one william's mailing list system is currently using... after all i'm supposed to be deleted from the current one.

You know, it *could* be that his hard drive crashed and he had to reassemble his email list from a very old backup.

Very strange...I am a current Wusik customer, and have been for about 5 years...and I also received nothing at all from beat707. So, if this was the case, it would have had to have been a database from more than 5 years ago...

I did receive a couple of emails from Wusik in the past few days (normal stuff), but nothing from any beat707.

I'm a current customer (have been for about four/five years) and I did receive it. I thought this spamming nonsense had stopped.

williamk of wusik is spamming again.
