This is a reworking of 'You Know I'm No Good' by Amy Winehouse.

@neil.. Yes, i was going for the 'seedy underworld' type of presentation.

I loved the original, but couldn't very well just re-sing those lyrics; so approached the thing from my own personal perspective, mixed with my own set of 'pop culture reference points.'

The first time I listened to this I had a hangover. The second time, I had no such excuse. This was real, but just didn't quite fit into my normal listening experience. So I turned it up and then I heard the lyrics.

This is awesome! As Don Van Vliet once said, "Music from the other side of the fence".

This one has a very coherent style. Your vocals and the instrumentation and other noises make musical sense to me. The Mexican Polka type bass line is sweet. Is the background guitar sound pitch shifted with plugins or is it just intentional string bending?

@Genetic_Junk: The guitar is tuned way down, so it 'warbles' all over the place.

The 'outer' strings are down to 'a' (instead of 'e'); what used to be the 'g' string is now an octave lower, etc. It's tuned 'backwards,' but in any event, 'way down.' Plus, the intonation is probably off.

Now, there is a healthy dose of the 'stretch' (purple, #9 effect) function of dblue's 'glitch,' with the 'stretch divisor' knob automated with an lfo, so it sounds kind of like a 'whacked out flanger.' (If memory serves,) during the breaks, 'stretch' changes over to 'chop' (flourescent green) or whatever it's called...

Anyway, yes; the guitar is not tuned normally, and the intonation is off.

Cool process. I should start messing with alternative tuning on my guitar. I used to tune the low e and a down few semitones, max the distortion/gain, and pretend I was death metal. Of course, I'm too sophisticated and mature for that sort of juvenile behavior.
