So I can take my 2 iPhones and iPad and get an iRigMIDI for each of them - then have midi pass through all 3 of them- being controlled by a single keyboard.
And thus I can get 12-part layers to play all at once??? I am totally excited about what the future will hold.

I wonder -- will those of us who own Miroslav, SampleMoog, etc. be able to copy our libraries (especially those we have tweaked/created ourselves) into SampleTank for IOS? That would be fantastic! :0P

David, SampleTank iOS will have the best of the best already included - strings from Miroslav, synths from SampleMoog, new sounds from the upcoming SampleTank 3, and a whole lot more.

You do mean a smaller subset I guess? And you didn't really answer David's question, I'd like to know too.

Post

You will not be able to because it is a new format optimized for iOS. At around 1GB, it will be a subset of the very best of the best from the expansive SampleTank family.

release date please Brian?? an estimate?
...dying for a compact midi solution like this...how do you connect USB midi devices then? just using the Apple CCK?

Post

So, I guess you still haven't implemented copy and paste to any of your apps and that iSampleTank will be no exception?

Then it's a no-go for me and several others apparently. Will never understand your priorities in this respect. People have requested it for about a year now but with no luck. If any of you really made music on iDevices, you would know how essential this feature is

Locus, we're working on a number of ways to get tracks in and out of IK apps. This all continues to go forward.

So you say and have said for while now.

Brian, I hate acting like a spoiled child but adding copy and paste is a walk in the park. All the instructions can be found on this site:

It should really be a no-brainer.

But good luck with your products anyway. I'll buy a bunch of them when and if you apply pasteboard transfer.

Hi Brian
Can you tell us is this SampleTank app going to be totally controlled by midi controllers? I mean would all the parameters (Sustain, Release, Cutoff, Resonace, Part Volume, etc.) be changed via CC change. And does the app accept the Program Change Number to quickly change the preset to another?

Thanks :)
