Can you take just one more, IrionDaRonin? Their comments piqued my curiosity so I took a listen and it's indeed good work. Very relaxing. I particularly liked "From Daydreaming to Reality".

Z3ta+ already sounds perfect to me. So difficult to beat really, even for a second part. But we will know that tomorrow.
@Satyatunes
I already started it. I can't stop producing, i'm doomed.
Have a good day

Ya, two more days to go. I guess it's worth $99. I saw the promo video and it really looks good. Try the demo first though.
I don't really get Cakewalk's thought process behind it, such a fine VST and they took so long to update it. So many people are waiting eagerly for Aug 4, I hope they learn something out of it.

I was checking the OSC site (as I do from time to time since I stopped entering) and thought: "Z3TA+? When did they make that free?" Looks like they didn't, which is a slightly unexpected but not unprecedented move for the OSC. I'm interested to see what happens.
I, for one, am excited about it. I'm one of the ones who bought it on sale for $20 some time ago, but never really played with it. I was already planning on picking up Z3TA+ 2 on Thursday, so this could be an excellent excuse to really learn the thing.
Since any version is legal to use... does that mean that both versions are legal to use in the same track? Or does it have to be either 100% Z3TA+ or 100% Z3TA+ 2?
A few new things since I was last here... Irion is running for president? He'd get my vote. Also, if you guys have all the synths lined up for the rest of the year, PLEASE tell me that Rez 3 is up in the near future.

I can't see any problem in use both in the same track, it's still Z3ta anyway.Archon1024 wrote:Since any version is legal to use... does that mean that both versions are legal to use in the same track? Or does it have to be either 100% Z3TA+ or 100% Z3TA+ 2?

But wait for the boss V'ger reply.
About Rez 3, it is in the main list of the 150 top scored synths, but i can't say anything about it yet. I will talk with V'ger about somethings.
Have a good day everybody
~ Your president, Irion.
Just kidding.

So would it be ok, If I use the Demo Version of Z3ta, render the Song several times, when its finished. And cut it together so that there are no more dropouts?

Yes. That's what many are planning to do. As Doc Jon pointed out earlier there is a chance that the Z3ta+2 demo may offer a 30 day trial, which would be pretty sweet for us cheapskates. We'll find out tomorrow.Bert Bert Bert wrote:So would it be ok, If I use the Demo Version of Z3ta, render the Song several times, when its finished. In order to make it work I think you should render track by track 2 or 3 times, not the entire song, as the volume drops are "per instance" not "per project".Bert Bert Bert wrote:So would it be ok, If I use the Demo Version of Z3ta, render the Song several times, when its finished. This is cool... finally a synth that I have in my arsenal. I might try to put something together for this month contest, moreover since I was planning on picking Z2 anyway.
One quick question about the rule that only free effects can be used. Are the plugins included in magazines like Computer Music considered free? The limited versions that are made available monthly in the DVD are advertised as "free software", and we're certainly not paying for the software license, but one could argue that in order to have them you have to buy the magazine, so... are those allowed or not?
