One has to throw the first stone, although I wish some of the stones were thrown back.
V'ger - V-2: 5
IrionDaRonin - Orion: 4
McPanic - Spaziergang (Im Farbrausch Mix): 3
bzur - ... in 12/16: 2
Stonail - Doomed By Lady Salvia: 1
this is my vote. What I have to tell 'bout the tracks;
V'Ger: Let's fire it, hrhrh. This one "goes off" *whooosh*
Irion: yes, dreamy stuff, like it
McPanic: another *really classic one*, relax & and hear it
bzur: classic, so i thing, nicely made. Great in every aspect, something special & the only one long enough
Stonail: nice mixture between all the styles.

5. v'ger - v-2 - WTF.. did u really have to make such a powerful and energetic track? don't u have anything better to do than making excellent tracks.. huh? well, if your answer is yes, then by all means please do... at least it's better than the junk on radio these days...
4. bzur - ...in 12/16 - I've nothing specific to say for this track.. I just kept going back to this track all the time... don't like the title either 12/16 is 0.75 ok.. name your track properly ..
3. IronDaRonin - A Cyborg's Dream - well well well, mr president is dreaming some kind of futuristic world... good for ya... liked this one over your other track...
2. evo2slo - excellent use of speech synth amongst all the tracks... loved the strings...
1. Ruedirena - happy song.. made me happy.. so thank you.. it's summer on the west coast USA too... so perfect timing..
rest of the tracks are excellent too.. it just didn't make to the above list.. no hard feelings...

By the way, now I'm working on a track in 5/4 (1.25, the trend is positive!).
Thanks for the vote

we submitted two tracks, Don't Panic! and Sommerrausch. Which is the happy one? We have a suspicion, but just to be shure please give us and Irion (or whoever counts the votes) a hint - and please have a look at our signature.

1. IrionDaRonin - A Cyborgs Dream : 5 pts
Grabbed me big time right from the beginning. Really nice stereo effect. Extremely cool mix of sounds. Especially dug the metallic clanging - perfect juxtaposition against the fat bottom end. An excellent composition and wonderfully produced.
2. bzur - 12/16 thing : 4 pts
Really fantastic song. Like a lost classic from the future. The percussion is stellar - great kick, snare, and hats. That incredibly hooky main theme though is what really makes it stand out. Love it.
(alternative title - Simple Fraction)
3. Funkfeuer - Colourdrunken : 3 pts
Absolutely killer bassline. Great crispy drums. Lots of wonderfully tweaked sounds scattered throughout. Very nice. Perhaps too repetitive, though I understand that is part of it's effectiveness.
4. V'ger - V-2 : 2 pts
Excellent track. Really nice playing. Love the riffing. It started so strong I wanted it to go further. Would be a great song to launch a rocket to.
5. Tattiemannie - Say That Again : 1 pt
Great kick, snare and bass combo. Awesome. I liked the synth parts individually but thought they sometimes got in each others way. In the sections where the mix is less crowded this track seriously kicks ass.
Stonail - Doomed By Lady Salvia
Nice use of space between the notes. Song has a really cool feel to it. It was the clickyness of the percussion that for me held this back. Still, a great track.
IrionDaRonin - Orion
Like going inside a sparkling cloud. I could see a huge crowd bobbing their heads to this with a laser light show accompaniment. I liked your other entry more so that one got my points, but this is a really good track as well that I can find no fault with.
Yeager - Sour Crowd
Love the way this twists and shifts through its different parts. Great balance of drums and bass and synths. Excellent melodies. I thought the pads got slightly overbearing after a while and would have liked a break from them.
bzur - Agnostic Kyrie
Enjoy this song very much. Drifty and melodic. Clever title and nice use of voice generator. Maybe a tiny bit too much swooshing. Liked other entry more so that got my points.
McPanic - Spaziergang
Really good song. Nice progression and arpeggios, though a bit generic for my tastes. Loved the big percussion hits, thought they were very effective.
sly fly - Car Chase On Ocean Drive
Such a good track. Very nice melody and changes. Really liked the way the song progressed over time. Not crazy about the way the sudden breaks came in, and the kick and snare sounds didn't quite do it for me.
RuediRena - Sommerrausch
Like this song a lot. The Henry Mancini style riff, the main melody - which is insanely catchy, and the sections that sounded almost like Augustus Pablo melodica dub. Sweet. Though I did not care much for the panned left clavinet lead parts.
Numerologia - Massacre at the Moon
Great beginning. Seemed like an old film reel playing the original Nosferatu. The laughing was great too. Lost me in the middle a little, but then that beautiful piano part comes in... only to be consumed by evil. Very nice.
Gorgorgathgorgorgor - kIHl AOl hyUWmAEnz
Awesome menacing effect of a killer robotic march. Only drawback is that buzzing sound, which I suppose as a human I'm not supposed to like - so well done!
RuediRena - Don't Panic!
Nice Douglas Adams tribute. Enjoyed it very much but a bit too scattered for this hitchhiker.
DJ Anvil - Braindead
Lots of nice sounds, but the song itself didn't grab me. Thought the organ section was excellent.

Here are the results of the German jury:
Funkfeuer - Colourdrunken (V2 Voiceless Edit): 5 points
Through the night on repeat, we don't miss the sampled voice, less is more, Rena's dancing, Ruedi follows.
IrionDa Ronin - A Cyborg's Dream: 4 points
See what you can do with some crappy, buggy, noncommercial synth, deep and airy, exceptional sounding, we are curious but doubt that this can be topped in august.
bzur - Agnostic Kyrie: 3 points
Cool and soft, this could have gone on for some more time, well done.
bzur - ... in 12/16: 2 points
Yeah, shuffle, a fine melody, never a dull moment, we feel a lot of love and dedication going into the track.
Numerologia - Massacre at the moon: 1 Point
Old vinyl, visions of black and white horror movies, we love the laughter, couldn't understand a word unfortunately, but one point for the big cousin of Don't Panic!
Further tracks in order of submission, enjoyable to listen to as usual!
V'ger - V-2
Fat and pleasant sounding, but composition lacks a bit of direction.
Stonail - Doomed by Lady Salvia
Nicely deep rhythm and bass, but lost us somewhere in the middle.
Yeager - Sour Crowd
We like it a lot, das geht ganz gut ab, a bit too long, loses grip at the end.
McPanic - Spaziergang (Im Farbrausch Mix)
Really good, a well rounded composition with nice arpeggios, forgive us for not having any points left.
Tattiemannie - Say That Again
We liked this somewhat soft and conventional composition but felt that the distorted vocals didn't really blend into the mix.
sly fly - Car Chase On Ocean Drive
Enjoyable track with interesting details, might have been a bit faster, we didn't like the breaks midway.
DJ Anvil - Braindead (V2M Version Mp3 Rip)
Sorry Anvil, that you didn't find a better composition in your archive, some interesting sounds though.
IrionDaRonin - Orion
Irion and four to the floor? Big surprise, it works very well. Quality sounds and atmosphere as usual in the first half and at the end, the calm section seems to be too long to hold the tension. We enjoyed this a lot, sorry no points left.
Gorgorgathgorgorgor - kIHl AOl hyUwmAEnz
This track really settles the matter, effective, man, we're not supposed to like it (especially the buzz on top of the killer bass), are we? That's where our oppinions met, apart from that it is a split decision: "Great, harhar!" (Ruedi), "Stop it, PLEASE!" (Rena).
evo2slo - Mad Without Power
Dramatic melody, nice voice, building and building towards the end, the saw didn't blend too well.
Funkfeuer - Colourdrunken (V2 Voiceless Edit): 5 points
