Is this what Geist should have been. Is this where Spark should be heading.
I've said all along that a drum machine must incorporate a piano roll to be truly a one stop groove thing.
It's fun to make beats but to add those stabs, synth lines is the icing on the cake.
Perhaps in the budget low end market this plus a controller and or keyboard is all one really needs to knock out something really cool.
Also great to hear that Aussie voice on the demo.
Cheers

It looks great but based on the demo video it can't load a sample loop and chop it up like Geist can. That's what I was really hoping for. There are plenty of pattern based drum machines that load individual drum samples so while this might be slight more groovy than a lot of them it still seems limited to that genre.
On more absurd note, when they first demonstrated the synth sound in the demo video I thought they were going to burst into "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin.

Wow, that's really awesome! Is the beta going to be available to everyone or just selected persons? I mean, I read that it would be public beta testing.
P.S.: Why can't I post on their forums? I registred an account but I can't post a reply there?

Yay! It's finally here! Tested it, but it has some audio stuttering issues. My ASIO4ALL driver always gets an overload while I'm playing the patterns and the sounds. Anyone else having these issues? Because I can't post on the forums of ImageLine...

its taking a little working out with no manual, but its great fun so farCPU usage of current version is too high, I admit. It will be improved with new updates.
