any company focusing on apps for cellphones and pads over their main products deserves to go under ...

my opinion of course if that wasn't obvious :p

I bought Circle here at KVR and the seller got permission to sell.

When I went to register it I got no response from the developer. This lasted weeks, then months and in the end I had to send it back and got my money back. I would say Circle support is huge problem. Great synth though- real shame.

If you don't get a reply from support for what you consider to be too long, just send them an email from another account asking them a really simple question about their iPhone app, and how you're interested in buying it.... then if they reply to that email, reply with your Circle query :)

the ole bait & switch :hihi:

Zebra is 182 euros including VAT
FAW Circle is 85 euro including VAT

Considering the price difference, Zebra should do more
You should mention that to Urs; he is really responsive and communicative with folks. I'm sure he'd be all ears to exciting suggestions. And that is a fantastically low price, thanks: I found no store with such a low price, but that price point changes things.
Even if I never hear from them again, if I get it authorized (& reauthorized, should I change OS), I might have to bite.

oh no, Zebra is fine. when you said Zebra does more than Circle - I was agreeing with you - but stating that it should do more as it costs nearly an extra 100 euro :)

I tried the demo and really liked it however couldnt work out how to scroll through presets quicker than the mouseclick on each preset method.

I emailed them to ask about this as this was the only deal breaker - never got a response!

I'm feeling fortunate I've had no problems

Although I have noticed problems with various synths/fx due to Win 7 user permissions. Might it be related to that ?

I guess I'm now the official kvr FAW-circle fanboy :hihi:
I bought Circle a few months ago after trying the demo and really loving it; I bought it from Best Service I think, and it was about £72 - certainly a lot cheaper than buying direct from FAW.

I haven't had any problems with authorisation (Win 7 - just followed directions on the forum), and haven't had any problems with the synth itself, so support is also somewhat of a moot point for me. I will say that I find it to be the most intuitive synth I've used / bought, and it makes patch / sound design a joy (I'm just an amateur / enthusiast).

I would gladly join the fanboy camp :)

Ok, so i downloaded the demo.......... f'ing brilliant! Look at the envelopes for instance! The routing ............. choosing wavetables ...... first time i have seen visual feedback working so well!

Just one question ... how can you assign a for instance filter envelope amount to a midi controller?
I connect an envelope to the frequency of a filter ... i click on the circle to adjust amount, but how can i control that via midi? I cant see how to control any such amounts and they're not listed under energyXT's controller map (but everything else is) and the control in the plugin itself doesnt react to it.

Any ideas?
