But I voted for Ableton Live 'cos I like that one bestest, and having tried most of the others it's the one I find most inspiring, easy to use... I keep going back to it.

I love all the hosts - they're frickin' brilliant. Amazing tools for making great music

I voted for Live, because it is my prefered DAW.
But often RENOISE is the music software of my choice. It is so easy to use, so music centric.
They go together well via rewire.

Its obvious Pro Tools is still the DAW of choice for the pros. They're too busy making money and music that they have no time to browse forums and vote.

I love Logic. Used it at a friend, a couple of months later I got myself a MacBook! I love the ease of use of FL Studio too, been working with it for the past five years. I like Reason's synths, but hate its arranger/piano roll. Lacks step editing as well. Oh, and MadTracker, what a lovely piece of software

anyone tell me why I cant seem to get any sound when using Halion 4 as a vsti plug in with Acid Pro? Loads okay, seems as if if functions but no sound. No problem with any other vst I have, just the latest one.

I also use PT in the studio, but when I get home, it's the Reaper!dgkenney wrote:keyman_sam wrote:Its obvious Pro Tools is still the DAW of choice for the pros. They're too busy making money and music that they have no time to browse forums and vote.
