I dunno, the demo w/o the pedal board is a more fair test to me.

Either way, I like to see those

If that green/turquoise one is an ibanez and he didn't use it I'm gonna be really pissed! :x
Relax, the guy didn't want to mess with you.
It's a Tom Anderson. :phew:

The way I see it, both videos tell you different things.
How the amp reacts to various guitars and speakers, and the way the amp works in a real world scenario.
Would like to know what speakers the pedal guy used, so I can avoid them.

They carry those here at a smaller shop and I guess they are not set up well or something because they don't seem that great.

In the first one, I think it's when he went to the blue speaker that I kinda did a :o

That imho was a really inspiring tone......but none of them were bad.

Take one home and give it a decent setup ! :o
Haven't played a recent one but a lot back in the 90s, tied with (US) Schecter and Suhr they were among the best F-styles to be found anywhere.
Anderson used to work for Schecter before starting his own line, there is still a lot of Schecter in his designs. :tu:
Not sure if Anderson followed in the Schecter / Hamer / G&L far east sellout footsteps, hope they could avoid it.
How much are those Andersons ?

Way too much. If I recall correctly, about 2200usd+ street

It's a great and very common technique, both for recording and for live use. For example, with the original Matchless DC-30's, the Greenback provided the midrange bite and crunch while the Vintage 30 filled out the top and bottom end.
Does this make sense to get 4 different characters from the close mic, depending on placement ?
Yes, although I'd fix 4 mics to the cabinet and mix them all in together.

Dean Aka Nekro wrote:Eminance have an intresting one which allows one to attenuate via the speaker itself instead of a power brake/load box which i would really like to try/hear
My first thought was "why not just get an attenuator?" Then I realized just how damn cool and convenient it is to have it built-in to the speaker, particularly for gigging. Furthermore, my attenuator cost me *a lot* more than the $126 that the blue one goes for.
Put one of those paired together with one of these *potential* valve amp eliminators:

It eliminates everything, including the speaker and mic. It blows away the AxeFX, not to mention every software solution I've used.

Gentlemen, I present to you the 1x12" + 2x8" Bogner Duende Seco Mojado:

One 15W, 6V6-powered power section feeds the 1x12" clean, while second independent 15W, 6V6-powered power section feeds the reverb and effects loop to the side-facing 8" speakers. It's basically M-S in a combo amp.

Nice!
