I have the other one still up and running! Sometimes - Broomstick Bass was never updated to Intel… :x

PS Anybody got a bona fide Steinberg's Virtual Bassist for sale? No kracks!

/Joachim
Just PM'd you about virtual Bassist.
PM received, read, understood and immediately acted upon!

Thank you very much indeed, Synthmagic!

Best,

Joachim
If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Been working on this for many months on and off, and now I'm applying what I learned while working on the Fairlight samples. Anyone care to guess?

Thats is amazing-What is that thing he is blowing into connected to?
Sounds brilliant.
To me it is sort of CS80ish in sounds.
The MemoryMoog pads are nice too-Another synth that would be great to own.
:)
Couldn't make out the synth under the MemoryMoog, I love the bass sound in Radio Active - must of been the memory moog, but the synth underneath, I'm guessing DX7, also no fairlight in site, but was definately used on Radio Active, also like to know what drum machine on Radio Active? Radio active is posted on page one of this thread...

PS is it a vibraphone on stage?

I own 2 of their LP's btw and a 12", I've also got the Peter Erskine kit for BFD, Radio Active is an all time fave of mine with it's jazz-fusin/Electro Funk/Hip Hop flavour, classic...

PS thanks Cosmosis for doing this, I'm thinking your updating it now, will wait for V2 before I install it... :D

Emulator or Emax?

I like the famous "Arr1" sound so much that I made a song with it.
It is called "Dreamchild".

Here it is:

Comments are very welcome. :-)

The drum machine on Radio Active is an Oberheim DMX as far as I can hear.
The device Michael Brecker plays is called and EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). Akai did them and they primarely worked with their own synth module.
As for the vibraphone, yes it exactly that on stage. Mike Manieri plays MIDI vibes exclusively

Ooo I like it. Is that a Les Paul?

Yay! Although I'm not sure how to deal with the mess. But there's so many useful and inspiring sounds. I've mostly been getting stuck playing the good patches.

I used to have an Emax, eventually with the hard disk interface that never worked properly…

I'll be standing in line, contribution wallet open!

Hi cosmosis,
I am glad that you like my song "Dreamchild". :-)
To your question: No it is not a Les Paul guitar.
Unfortunately I cannot play guitar.
It is a preset from the new tubeohm synth Bruno 2.
A fantastic synth I think.

I would love to play with some Emax samples. I'm going to download and play with the Fairlight samples this evening now that I'm done traveling and have a bit of free time. It sounds like you did a tremendous amount of work. :)
