Hey Greg,
Did you have the bass running through a bass amp vst or was that dry (other than the obvious reverb of course!)?

Ok, let me rephrase the question then, did you run it through any amp sims within Kontakt?

Ah, sorry about that--yes, it does use an internal amp convolution within Kontakt 4. It's the "Brit 212 Dyna Edge" convolution impulse which comes with Kontakt. It's only mixed in slightly to the dry signal. There's also a compressor and chorus before that in the effect chain.

I'm trying to fit Cherry Bass "in the mix" like I had with Yellow Tools Majestic and so far I haven't found what I'm looking for with the Ampeg vst so I wanted to know what you had used.
