Cheers for the entry, and yes, submit as many tracks as u like.

Know what u mean, but sometimes feel the opposite. It's just about mixing it up a litte.

But imo getting to know z3ta and it's not that much different than the others if u take away the sheer number of oscillators, filters, lfo, envelopes etc. If u limit urself to 1 or 2 osc's and 1 of the others it's like any basic synth.

It also has the effects page of course, but compared to the massive number of free effects u have the choice of in any challenge it's nothing really..

Another approach would be to start from scratch. Do not use any presets and design your own, just the way you would've done for any other synth which has limited capabilities.
I understand the motivation and challenge with the limited options.

I've been tinkering, and I have the beginning of something, let's see if I get to the end! I've restricted myself to the z's own effects (except of course for Ferric on the master) and have been squeezing some interesting noises out of it, so I'm sure I'll have something to offer. I can only take so much of the demo drops before I have to walk away tho. Not giving up yet!

Post

Yeah those demo drops are messing with my head. Will be very strange to hear it without them. Every once in a while they come in pretty nicely though, so who knows maybe I'll leave one or two. :hihi:

I rendered the same midi track to audio twice and each time the dropouts were in different places! This means it will just take some simple snipping and crossfading between the two renders to get a complete take. Will actually be a lot easier dealing with this process than the bugs from the last two synths. Here's a screenshot of the two audio bounces, the seconds are in the tick box on top:

Would be nice motivation if a full version of Z3ta 2 were offered as a prize!

I wonder if the dev thought randomizing the timing would increase security instead of eliminating it? :-o

I must say though, currently in the process of editing together 12 instances of z3ta demo tracks for a 5:00 song, this is more of a pain than I thought it would be. If anything it's extra incentive to just buy the damn thing.

I do wonder if that screenshot above has anything to do with there being no demo available for z3ta+2 ? Nah... Couldn't be... Could it?... :-o

He that would be ironic, although it could be the timer just sets according to when it's loaded.

I don't think anyone got around to answering this... Yes, enter as many as you like! Enjoy.

@Examigan

Welcome to OSC. I saw you own a Soundcloud account.

As rules says:

Upload to Soundcloud only.
Once done, share the track with the respective OSC group and set the track as downloadable.
Just in case, don't forget this.

@Evo2slo
I'm proud of you, even with obstacles you are there in the first line :)

Have a good day :)

Thanks, and I will do that, no problem there.
