From what I understand Marketplace is for individuals selling their stuff, I haven't seen any other company announcing and giving support to their beta products on 48 pages long threads here. Even those annoying IK groupbuys threads don't stay that long, do they?

It's not like I have a problem with it, I'm mostly curious.
The pre-order is still available, but this thread is clearly beyond promoting the pre-order, so I would agree with you. I would assume that it belongs under the 'effects' forum, but I'm not sure who I would speak to about that. If someone could point me to the correct person to e-mail, I would gladly contact them about it :)

First, let me congrat your team for your hard work.
I've won a free license of Mixcontrol in a recent contest here in KVR (choose a number and win...). IIRC I didn't register for an account, i've just received my license through email. Will i qualify for a free update?
Thanks.
All previous giveaway winners and beta-testers have been logged and are completely eligible for the upgrade. If you send an e-mail to the address in this signature, we will setup an account for you and add MixControl so that you can login and download the files :)

This is *very* generous of you, I won a contest too and I can already see the beta files for Mix Control Pro in my account. Does it mean I will also see the final version when it's ready?

Thanks,
Mario

Talk to Meffy, he should be able to help you out.

It does, and anyone else who was assigned a license in the past, but was not assigned an account, please contact us and we will make sure you get setup properly.

For users and beta-testers who didn't know, or who haven't visited our forum, there is a new beta version available from your account.

Hi there,

Thanks for the new beta, I'll give it a spin ASAP.

I have another feature request: when I want to save a preset MC uses the Preset folder inside the installation directory under "Program Files" (I'm talking about the Windows version, of course). As a normal user I don't have write access to this folder. Ideally MC should save its presets under %USERPROFILE%\Documents or %APPDATA%. At least the preset folder should be configurable in the preferences dialog (kudos for the adjustable color btw).

Regards,
Andre

I've passed on the information to the others and will keep you posted :)
