I should be/am careful also with my two around as they pick up enough erm 'alternative terms' already from school, kids tv at times and some of the random stuff on youtube they watch on thier little netbooks which i have had to then sit either or both of them down and reason that such words are not appropriate to use/repeat. The way they have applied a few of them admittedly has forced me to hide my face from laughing my head off as they used them out of the blue and with such innocence. Bless them both. They kind of get excited and come straight to me to whisper out 'newly' discovered bad words as i have let them know that they are able to ask me/talk to me about any such stuff and i won't and do not shout at them/tell them off and then its out of thier system's. The biggest thing from my perspective is to not make a big deal or fuss when these things do crop up or i think it would only make things worse! My way of dealing with this area has worked so far AFAIK and hope it stays that way  as i am Mum and Dad

Unsurprisngly it is my Six and a half year-old Daughter whom is worse than my Son in this area with anything toilet humour related like bum, poo and wee being "buzz" words: damned Females :help:

Did not get given any sort of manual So am unable to RTFM when i could use one

Now where's the rest of the CD ?
I like it a lot  , though in your eyes it might be as close to a Chris Isaak ballad as you'll ever get ... :P

I missed this but I just listened to it, I really liked the heavier parts...what's the breakdown there?

Dean Aka Nekro wrote:Monib not at all, Using the Line 6 POD in the FX Loop for your FX should sound/work just fine plus the POD has onboard EQ options so you could also when not having any effects engaged still change the amps sound with the POD's EQ setup to taste or tastes giving you even more sound options. Although it will only affect the power-amp i sometimes use an EQ in my amp's FX Loop (it has to be a series FX Loop as a parallel one is useless for EQ of course) to give them different characteristics. So it would not negate the POD and still no reason you couldn't use infront of the amp either...etc.

I think some people will always say that using anything in the FX Loop will make an amp sound 'worse' but meh to them, Do what you like and if the results work for you then go with them :tu:

@Frentzel - I would no doubt pick one up if i lived the other side of the atlantic but i do not so with the added cost it would add up to more than i would want to pay  Still up for some clips John if you would mate as i would like to hear your's man, The way you use it and in good quality (I would trust your demo sounds) :) As and when my friend

Thanks for the advice, will keep it in mind. The Blackstar HT-5 is looking to be $600 here though. Wondering what other options I could look at that price range. I suppose a FX loop is a necessity now.

You remember me babbling about getting these?

http://www.usspeaker.com/Maverick-1.htm

Well, my dealer, no, scratch that, my local music store got them in yesterday so I am picking them up today...then, over the weekend, between emergency calls..being on-call over the weekend can be interesting, I will get to put them into the cab and see just how they are ....

Hello again, I am not sure what to suggest options wise as i get abit lost with £GBP vs $USD rate plus there is i should think more options over your side. Eric (UncleE) runs a gear shop your side/sees alot and John (Hink) knows abit also as he is ex-retail so probably keeps an eye on stuff. So if it were me in your position i would ask Eric (if Eric deals then get yer discount also which is cool) and John, Then get a shortlist together :) Jet City and Blackheart maybe?? Not sure which models though

Hope that helps

Dean
