I just played a little with the latest beta and it looks awesome. Have you made changes to the "Stereo" module? I didn't play with it much but I think it sounds better than 1.07.
One thing I'd like to ask is the release of the gain reduction leds on the compressor and the limiter to be faster. Now they're rather slow and they don't show the actual release time of the compression. Especially the limiter led takes about 2 seconds to go out after limiting, that's not very useful.

I'll second to that... especially with the limiter... but adding this:geroyannis wrote:One thing I'd like to ask is the release of the gain reduction LEDs on the compressor and the limiter to be faster.
I'd say it would be very useful to have a gain reduction meter (even if made with only few LEDs) replacing the current one in the limiter section.
Also, I don't find the release on the limiter very useful with a minimum value of only 100ms and it feels to me that it doesn't have an auto-follower.
Limiters should be able to go down to a few milliseconds when talking about the release control.

Don't know if it was mentioned before, but I'd like to see the On/Off and Solo toggles on the EQ section to be more prominent. Currently it's really hard to tell in which mode they are.
Also I just noticed that after moving around the EQ curves in the display for a bit, the black line shows a lot of artifactes and is not a smooth anymore.
Not a big deal, just visually not very pleasing

Yeah... I noticed that also. Initially I thought that's because I've turned off the "eye candy" option located in the preferences menu, but turns out it's something else.. don't know.bM3w wrote:Also I just noticed that after moving around the EQ curves in the display for a bit, the black line shows a lot of artifactes and is not a smooth anymore.

EDIT: Just to be clear, the "HQ" button is also introducing some visual artifacts (more noticeable with low-pass filters) .. so I'm not talking about that.

A suggestion would be to draw some frequency grid and amplitude markings on the EQ display, + the possibility to turn that on or off via the preferences menu. Pretty please!
Some of us will use that non-stop and some might not, but will definitely help getting used to the MCP's EQ section... (which for example boosts or cuts about 6 db when it looks like it does only 3 db. if you get what I'm saying.)

The stereo module was reworked a bit from user feedback, we have not added the information into the PR, just the most prominent inclusions/changes.geroyannis wrote:I just played a little with the latest beta and it looks awesome. Also, all issues listed here currently, I am writing a quick note to make sure it is seen by the developer

We had the same idea and we did discuss it abit, we left it as is to see if we would get the same feedback you just posted.bM3w wrote:Don't know if it was mentioned before, but I'd like to see the On/Off and Solo toggles on the EQ section to be more prominent. So what I was thinking was to make the whole button not just the number/letter "lit up" with the same color as the band. It would give the user a better overlook of what's in use and what's not.

Hi
Am i mising something : the plugin doesn't output any sound ?!
The previous beta worked fine here (Win Vista, Reaper), but now, even with every module disabled, i see the input vumeter getting in the red, the input spectrum analyser moves accordingly, but there is no sound at the end of the chain : am i doing anything wrong ?

I had the same issue in Cubase 6 and Reaper 4, Win 7 x64 and reported myself in the beta test forum, the issue has been forwarded to the dev team.sinkmusic wrote:Hi
