RMV and relocated samples - correct procedure to persist changes?

Hello,
I have a REAPER project using RMV (5.0.6) with 6 loops; because of plugin folder reorganization I have recently reinstalled RMV in a different folder, and now this project complains about not found samples on loading.
RMV asks for the samples but there are a couple of glitches:
1) By default, the file filter is wrong, so that it doesn't show .d4t files (I have to write "*" or "*.*" in the file name textbox to make them show
2) When I specify the correct folder and filename for the first sample, RMV then loads all samples correctly *but* it doesn't seem to persist the new loop paths; so, when I reload the project, it starts complaining again and so on.
I found that I can fix everything by reimporting ("I" key on the loop display window) each loop again from the new location, but the question is: will this procedure preserve any tweak that I have done to the loop slices (I mean tune, volume, effect settings, output and so on)?
Thanks,
Mario

Woot, this is sad
; not even an estimation for a beta to test?
I'm using RMV as my groove foundation for most of my songs, this is annoying... what if I reimport the grooves, will the single slice settings be lost?
Let me know if I can do something to help you fix it.
Thanks,
Mario

Same Issue here:
Windows 64 bits and cubase 6 64 bits.
In Start it can't found samples. in the settings page of the plugin I change the address for the new folder(Kicks, toms, loops, etc). The changes are not saved ever, netither closing cubase, neither unloading the plugin (an error message saying "could not save samples config file" ...).
It's a realy big,big issue as i have an ssd disk only for system (and plug ins) but no space for samples.

If the samples config file could not be saved, then most likely there is no permission to save it at the location of the RMV library. I guess you are on Win 7 ?

Yes, in Windows 7.
The problem was the the library was been used from my old XP hard drive. REinstalling RMV full(plugin+library) installed a new archive i hadn't before (that is the one that couldn't be saved, i supossed because it didn't exist).
Now everything working right.
Thanks for being always so helpful.
Regard
Jorge

Although it's great he solved his problem - re-installing the entire content just to relocate the data directory is a major PITA!
I recently had to reinstall Windows on my machine, and solved this via regedit .... much easier.
An easy way to change the data directory for RMV would be a nice improvement

You can set the "startup kit" on the "setup" page, this does change the respective registry entry, pointing RMV to the library.
