Thats why I've held off getting the upgrade - waiting until more reports about bug fixes etc.

Here's my submission for this month:

Sly Fly - D Pentagon 5
I added "5" because ironically, my fifth render of the song was the right one.So I kept the name. It's kinda like the story of the naming of WD-40... Bonus point to the person who will guess why I called it D Pentagon to begin with.

SPECS :
Made in Reaper
28 instances of z3ta+ 1.5

effects used :
FreeverbToo
Loudmax
Pancake
Reagate (as a LP/HP filter on the master track)
ReaEQ

I expected this to be a participative succes . I'm surprised to be only the 4th submission at this point. :-o Hopefully everyone is just waiting till the end to come up with something big that will change the face of music forever!

Indeed, i thought there was going to be more participants. But be patient.
I know people are finishing their entries. Don't expect too many new entries until day 28th or so.
The last three days is when people comes with a good amount of tracks.

I have one almost finished, i'm just tweaking the last parameters, details and sound effects.
And also rendering it tweaking the render mode option and the oversampling thingie to know how sounds better or properly in my case.
Also, i'm making another track, as usually.

Let's see if i can finish the second track in time. I just have the main basis.

I can guess about 20-22 tracks this month.

Have a good day :)

@Ancient.. excellent track. More comment is available on the soundcloud player. Interesting title, is there a story attached to it?

I was expecting that it will break all the records in terms of submission. We get a lot of last minute submission though.

Not much of a story...just a mental picture of Kabul receding from the windows of a homeward-bound military plane.

I don't think SoundCloud is doing the track any favors. It seems to have gotten very gravely in conversion. I uploaded it as a 128k MP3, but it sounds like it's been reconverted by way of a dusty 78rpm record. I had a tough time getting it to upload, so I wonder if something has gone very wrong. Anyone have any tips for a quality upload?

Any rules against removing and reposting a track before the end of the challenge? I think I need to make a more internet friendly file.

You can delete your track and reupload it again, don't worry.
Just make sure to upload it before the deadline and make a warning about it, so people could download your latest/über track.

I just finished the basic structure for my second track in a while.
So last details/mastering time for both.

I got some issues with the synth anyway, my daw got frozen sometimes which was a pain in the ass. But i think is all about the Virus Mod thing. The same thing happened to me with the V2 multi version.

Great sound really, i made two tracks from it, one epic, and other thrilling (at least to me).

Genesis and Soulthriller incoming ;)

Althought Z3ta+ invites you to make a Trance style track, i kept on making my usual style of ambient-soundtrack and avoided to use the built-in arpeggiator, just to make my own arps.
The most precious/moving synthesized pads i ever heard in my whole life for sure.
Good with basslines and FX sounds too.
But so so on the drumkits/percussion sounds, at least the factory presets.

I hope to upload it/them soon in the next week. Now it's time to rest.

A tip: Use the built-in effects to make a good drum sound (snares, hats, kicks)

Have a good day. :)
