haha!
I've been so good lately. I was thinking about the "jazzmidi" from toontrack and decided against it. Now, I am going to fork out a WHOPPING 8 bucks for the hollowsun's latest confection when they get the link back up.

I've spent way too much on new gear the last few months...
In the last five months, I've brought home:
1) a Boogie Mark V combo
2) a 1995 Gibson doubleneck
3) a recent Charvel San Dimas reissue (I haven't contacted Charvel about when it was made)
4) a new Les Paul Traditional
5) a 2007 Les Paul Special reissue
Oh yeah- I also got Omnisphere...
ew

Re lock on door.
When I was living in Detroit my apt was broken into by someone busting out the window. So I got bars. Then it was busted into because of the cheap door in the hallway. So that was replaced. Then It was busted into by taking out the door and the threshold. Locks only keep amatuers out.

Now that my 500 rack is on the way, I'm fiending over modules again... and I thought that modular synths were expensive!
I think I'm going to keep it dual mono/stereo for now (for mastering purposes) then as I expand I'll start thinking in terms of mono channel strips and summing. I'm already sold on the Chandler Germanium Pre, Chandler Little Devil EQ, Little Devil Compressor and the Safe Sound Stereo Toolbox. If I get two of each of the Chandler units, that will likely be my mastering rack. Then I'll use the Radial and JDK stuff in another rack (probably with some API modules) for channel strips.
I just finished up two big projects for clients who would like to hire me again soon, so I've got cash for this stuff...
but I want to take it slow. I've had opportunities to test out a lot of pres, EQs and compressors over the last weeks but I haven't heard them in my environment.
I also just got AAS Chromaphone. Can't wait to compare it with Collision.
