Heh Tek, although the GUI doesn't worry me, i also won't say your wrong, my comment was more in response that guys overly negative attitude toward the developer for not trying to appease peoples GUI complaints. His entire post smacked of a bad attitude. Constructive criticism is one thing, bashing is another. He's gone to say that he has tried it, but clearly he hadn't at the time judging by the fact he called it a clone of Discovery. I wouldn't be surprised if he will continue argue this point, but his own words betray him.Teksonik wrote:In this case they are legitimate complaints.....it's too bright, has a lot of wasted space and looks amateurish in my opinion. Have you worked with Corona for long hours programming presets? If so then you'll find the bright white is harsh on the eyes and will lead to fatigue. The fact that George has failed to address the GUI simply means he has no intention of doing anything about the criticism.....his prerogative....but the GUI is the face of an instrument and the first thing potential customers encounter. If the GUI gives people a negative first impression that can't be good for sales....simple as that.Ruddy wrote:It's rare a bunch of people don't complain about a GUI in here

Wow, this is a really bitchy thread...
...but I guess that's better than a new product thread with no responses at all.

Maybe someone else has already mentioned this, but this synth is a replication (maybe not identical, but nearly) to the free and bundled synth named QSamo within Jeskola Buzz.

It's due filters design, nothing else.

It's an analog model filter so the frequency response is not perfect. Cutoff is the resonant frequency which should be pretty close, at least when tanh shape is used.
