Diversion is a versatile, comprehensive synth, which you could use in any genre of electronic music. Detailed description and demo version you could found at http://www.diversion-synth.com. Here is a quick link to audio demo at soundcloud: Diversion VSTi Audio Demo.

In short, the synth is not very fast. Instead, development was concentrated on the sound quality. The main goal of Diversion is to provide pure high frequencies and extremely low level of aliasing. Another major feature is the unison, covered the full signal path. Be careful, unison produces the clean sound, but it is the most CPU-sensitive module. There are many other features. You could visit the website to learn more about them.

Currently, Diversion has only Windows 32 bit VST version. x64 will be released soon and then I will start development of MAC version.

The demo version is 100% functional, only the noise sample is played every 90 sec. The full version costs $200 USD. But, this is the first synth I released. And I think it would be great to launch the introduction sale. So, the price is $150 USD until…

Your comments are highly appreciated,
Regards,
Dmitry Sches

This synth is incredible!!!

So.. rent or synth .. rent or synth..................... synth!!

I love how you can access modulation from both controller or matrix! Filters and the drive sounds fantastic! Osc control is so use-your-ears-friendly!

The arpeggio is exactly what i have been looking for in my mc202 sequencer post. Load and save! That's brilliant! :D
Having a filter called Acid is such a win :)

what does dmp mean?

My heart is beating with love when i play around with this synth .. fk rent! :D

I looked at the website and did not find a specs list. For example, what are the various filter types? Also it says you can chain up to 8 effects in the fx module, but no list of the available effects...

Thanks and good luck with this synth.
Filters:
LP/BP/HP in 12 & 24 db
Acid LP
Acid BP
BP 48 db
Ring LP
Formant
Allpass 2, 4 & 8
Notch
Peak
Lowshelf
Highshelf
LP 6 db
Comb-
Comb+
Bell Comb

Effects
Reverb
Delay
Echo
Chorus
Flanger
Phaser
Distortion
Tremolo
EQ

You get two of each effect.

So far I'm liking this a lot :)

Edit: I'm not associated with this synth in any way, shape or form.

@Dmitry

Any idea how long for an x64 version?

Thanks

I really like the user interface and the sound quality of this synth. And no glitches so far ..great work!!!

Yup, just gave it a test run. I'm impressed. Really nice, but can be a bit of a CPU hog (beware of the unison :D ).

Thanks guys! You are so generous! Thank you, anzoid, for posting the list. I updated the web page with the details.

Crackbaby, thanks! There is another one feature with modulation. If at least one mod source is assigned to the knob you can right-click on the knob, hold the mouse and drag to adjust the mod range. I think this is good and easy-to-use feature. But I think you found this already.

The "DMP" stands for "Damping". This parameter works only with Comb-filters and adjusts the cutoff of the lowpass filter inserted into the feedback path. Useful to simulate high frequencies loss of plucked instruments.

edteneyck, that are the great patches, thank you for the demo!

GeorgeZ, it would be cool to involve sound designers.

Rob, I'm really glad that you like that. I hope x64 will be released in a month, or two.

And currently I'm thinking about implementing CPU-saver mode. Sometimes the plugin's CPU usage is too high.

Currently there is no numerical display for parameter values. It will be included to the first update. MSEG can't be used instead of AMP ENV because it doesn't maintain the release stage. Decay and release curve is cubic, but I'm thinking about implementing more flexible curves with the exp rolloff.
that could be cool. Also could be great selectable shape for attack. For pads always useful linear and for leads, percussive stuff usually exponentional. absolutely like the list of modulation destinations! Awesome!

Thanks Richard, a little later i'll do that. Yes, Igro, this is exactly what I hope to do.

The output volume is a bit low, isnt it? First thing i do when starting a patch is to set master level to max. Not that it matter that much, and maybe it is by design

and again, incredible synth! it will be a big chunk out of my wallet ...... but ........ :help:

Nice! I love your Zebra presets Dmitry! I'll check this out later :)
