Great !!
This is now sooo close to be THE chanelstrip to rule them all :)

If only ...
that single-parameter-value display is a PITA ! ( sorry )

I know .. it makes the GUI look nicer, etc.
BUT having to refocus constantly, when setting up, is a real workflow killer.

( I really love RedPhatPro, but nearly never use it, due to it's single value display.)

Would'nt it be possible to add an option for the tooltips, to show the parameter values ??
OR some kind of overlay, showing up, when turning the knobs ?

Apart from that, the new MCP is a big step forward !
And mucho thankx, for giving it to us 1.x users for free !!

Am i mising something : the plugin doesn't output any sound ?!
The previous beta worked fine here (Win Vista, Reaper), but now, even with every module disabled, i see the input vumeter getting in the red, the input spectrum analyser moves accordingly, but there is no sound at the end of the chain : am i doing anything wrong ?
I had the same issue in Cubase 6 and Reaper 4, Win 7 x64 and reported myself in the beta test forum, the issue has been forwarded to the dev team.
Yes, your issue is the one we are looking into currently it seems. Sorry for the wait - it appears that the few bugs left are being a bit more difficult to resolve :) This entire bug catching process has taken quite some time, so thank you to everyone who has stuck by and been working with us to make the software clean and stable.

I had some time to test the beta finaly. Realy nice work, the gui feels realy smooth and easy to handle now, much more flexible aswell (like the reset bottuns alot, maybe add an undo there ?).

I get some single static pops when i switch to Saturation mode 2 or 3, is this normal?(running win7 64 bit, FLstudio 10.05)

No problem Steven, I know it's no easy game.

If you need further info or need further tests on my side, no problem.

No problem, thank you, i'm glad it's been worked on ;)
The previous beta was working fine, if it can help.
DO you still need that i send you a screencast of the bug ?

I am loving the latest beta! I'm still seeing that issue that someone else reported with the last beta (Win x64), where at 96kHz, the visual display of the curve of the HPF (EQ band #1) is all jagged, instead of a nice smooth curve. As you move the frequency up, the jaggedness gets smoother, but it's still there. I assume this is just a visual glitch and not representative of the sound processing in any way.

Yes, just a visual glitch, which we have been tracking for a while. I believe a solution has indeed been found and implemented though :)

Awesome! I can live with it until the fix is pushed! I'm still continuously impressed with the look and feel of the new interface...

Sorry about that, I missed your post - yes, this is something we are looking into very carefully, because the previous version had text input, which we would have liked to keep, but we missed it while going through the interface design process. I will keep you updated as to what plans we make to address this :)

I just tried some heavy compression on a deep subbass ( under 80 HZ) and noticed a high pitched noise. Its alternating the pitch when changing ratio/tresh,att/rel or the main i/o.

I recorded it :

:!:(dont blow your speakers with it pls!!!):!:

The noise will be audioable at 0:07, as i turned the threshhold down.

Sorry for the wait, I will take a look very shortly and see if the developer can also take a look.

Also, we have added a package of presets to the beta testing forum for those who would like to utilize them :)

We are finalizing the next version of the manual, and if anyone has any other suggestions as to pertinent information to include, or any other information, please feel free to suggest away. I've also opened the PM ability on this account for those who would like to message us on KVR :)

haven't had much time recently, and not enough to proofread the manual...seems good, so far, but it only seems to offer a little more than 'tooltips'...rather than just a description, it would be great to have a deeper explanation, giving context and example of how (and why) one might use each function in a 'realworld' situation

:)
