I think this is cause of the old preset bug.
There are some noisy presets which, without reason, goes out of oversampling, they were made in previous versions, so doesn't work properly on this 1.5.3
I mean if by default is oversampling x1, those presets would be perfectly 0.5 or even less. So sounds like disto-crap.
V'ger showed me that.
For download the fixed banks, go here and download the third file. The one called '1.5.3 bad banks fixed'. I think it should works. a bit late by the way, sorry

Lol at tiny words.
You are welcome. You don't need to say thanks really, i like to help.
Anyway, you all can call me just Irion. It's easier.

I think half the time I spent on the song, I was searching for a way to get a high hat sound that I would like. I eventually gave up.
Well, the same happened to me when looking for some drum presets, which are, as Bzur said, terrible
But in my second track i used some built-in effects so i got some nice and powerful drum parts.
A hint: To make those hats brighter, use the render option to high, and oversampling x2.
@Satyatunes
I hope you can finish your project in time, i want to listen it.
Have a good day
