Yes, of course there are (that's what KVR Wiki is for)
Corona brings some novel virtual analog + wave synthesis concepts. My advice is as always get a quick look to the manual! Also, check the YouTube Corona videos we are offering.

Most of the "virtual analog" synths use a similar signal routing, that's proven to be the most convenient for a flexible use, but also, they offer some unique designs that make them easier, harder, more complex or simple to use.PietW. wrote:Why always the same software that is programmed?
One example: Corona. The way oscillators can be combined, simple tone creation, modulation matrix and other features is what makes it stand over others. I know it's a matter of taste for some and they will be using other products. Corona was designed with easy, playable and fun to use concepts in mind.

My bet is popularity. Sometimes it's hard to get people used to new stuff.

Not very uncommon in the software world. I think Adobe does that with their products too for instance.Tehnik wrote:higher price if you want to dl for both platforms? that is ridiculous.

Nielze is right, I purchased my Adobe Creative Suite license for Mac only.
We could sell Mac+PC together for 119 EUR but this option gives you the possibility to get it for your platform of choice and save some money.
For both platform it's 19 EUR more only (I think the same as 2 cinema tickets and some popcorn) Imagine paying full price for Mac and PC versions. Now that would be ridiculous.

nope - it's not like one platform is cheaper - it's the two platform option that is more expensive. all the software I own that is multiplatform didn't require me paying any additional fees to use it on more than one os. i'd rather stick to such developers (although the difference in price is not THAT big indeed, but still).

It's all marketing semantics. It is more work to code for
multiple OS, so no matter what the final price, or marketing scheme,
the customer will pay. Just because some devs don't itemize the different versions or
quantify the pricing vs the restrictions, doesn't mean that they do not exist in
the companies private accounts. Each company tries to read the market,
to stay in business. Each must price their own labor accordingly. Some must downsize themselves, or burn the midnight oil, or both
And we get amazing instruments
for great prices.

Also, adding some filter drive (+6 dB) will resolve it.Igro wrote:Sure. And adding brighter filter type could resolve this.
