Igro, I have your entry in the list regarding resonance limiting. There is nothing special with the lp/bp/hp 24/12 dB. I have rechecked the filter responses, filters have correct behaviour. Some VA filter types "suffer" from volume drop when the resonance is turned up. This is only a taste deal, you could like such filters or not. It is possible to get rid of level drop with a special automatic resonance gain compensation approach, which raises the level in response to the resonance and cutoff changes. I'd like to have gain compensated filters. It is easier for me to make sounds with that filters. But there are no problems to add several alternative non-compensated versions further.

We have mailed with Giusmex and solved the troubles with purchasing.

A very quick example
Thanks rlahalla for your demo, it is very inspiring, thanks for your time!

Thanks, guppi. It is quite possible, at least I'll not cancel introduction soon. Unfortunately, I haven't anything to add to my bio. I'm new to the sound market, there is nothing to read about me. :) I got your requests and I will think about them, thanks for that.

I hope it will be released in three months, or four.

Thanks for the estimate... I look forward to trying it when it is released!

http://soundcloud.com/bj-rnlundberg/div ... background

here i use it as a techno background
Description i added on soundcloud

"Using Diversion Vsti for background noise and bassline
Bassdrum and rythmic hihat are samples.
Im using Stripbus by sknote for some simple and easy(!) mixing. There may be a reverb on somewhere. This is just a demo of ONE of the ways you can use Diversion!
Both sounds from diversion is just one long keypress where the sound is modulated by lfo's and MSEG (drawable envelope). The background noise has the x/y parameter modulated on one of the drone osc's (there may be more than one of those osc's running.. i dont have project open right now :p)
Lovely VSTi!!"

next ill try to upload some goa/psychedelic synthlines :)

You know how the morph x/y and mod amount wasnt midi controllable? Well you can assign knobs to them in Maschine! NI really rock sometimes :D

argh *happiness overload*
*warning warning danger alert*
:-o :o

Edit:
I noticed when i turn a knob on maschine that controls the modulation amount the graphics on the knob on the synth does not update. If you adjust the amount in from the modulation matrix you can see the blue line on the knob adjust. But on when adjusting this value from Maschine (automation controlled i guess) it wont update. Sorry if i was unclear .. this isnt a MAJOR issue though :p

Thanks for your demo, I like this style and sound!

Yes, the new bug detected. Thank you!

Here's a pretty smooth one. It only took me like 30 seconds to get the filters to sound smooth and another 5 minutes to reorganize the sounds into a track, so I'm not sure what the problem is here. Testing the filters should be more than just running a waveform through the filters - test a bunch of osc/flt combinations. I'm not using oversampling on any of the sounds either. It's a pretty flexible synth - it needs some damn value readout tho, cos I can't see what the F I'm doing half the time.

another quick demo

cool demo... some sweet sounds there... Every demo I hear from this synth sounds good so far... perhaps it invites types of sounds I tend to like

Impressive demo, many nice sounds, thanks!

To add numeric redouts I need some time to refactor a small part of GUI engine. It will be definitely done.

speaking of gui ... At least i have space left on my screen below Diversion .. maybe it would be possible to have mod, fx and arp beneath each other so i could see them all at once? :)

Sitting here making some pads.. I hope i dont insult the synthesizer by sampling one(!) key of it into maschine and play it from there.. :) Feels a little bit old school. Though i guess i loose some of the quality .. but meh, it sounds good to me, and if it doesnt, ill tweak somewhere :D

Since getting Geist I sample my synths into it all the time. Old school maybe, but it is so easy and fluid to do so (including velocity switch or round robin)... Why not!! ;)

Im very pleased with this one, I was sorta hesitant, the GUI seemed like it might be one of those all-flash types, just on first glance, but once i got into it, I started loving it ;)

Its so easy to take the presets and completely turn them inside out, cleanly without any spiking of frequencies or CPU, and I really like how its all 'right there' on one screen, very nice for realtime use, Ive got some really trippy sounds out of it with not a lot of trying :D

Great work! Another good synth, recently there have been more than a couple plugs that I fell in love with nearly instantly, I cant recall that happening before, perhaps its Synthe-summer this year ;D

I don't know, as for me Diversion's GUI is too large. Maybe an alternative layout would be nice option in the future, something like expand-collapse button?

I like the sampling too, I think that is creative.

Thanks, mudpeople, I'm glad to hear your words!

BTW, I have fixed some abnormal CPU spikes that may occure on some systems (even with Core i7). So the first little update with several critical fixes and a factory patches expansion will be finished soon.

Exellent! I was just about to email you about that particular bug.
Looking forward to the update :)
