They're cheaper now and the weight varies, I like them a lot but I'd want a Korina one, and Gibson won't go there to keep up CS demand.
So maybe a s/h one or a good copy ?

No Egyptian brain extractor headstock, No really OTT body shapes, Hardtails so no speadloader setups. Its like a totally different BC Rich. I like the ASM model and they play pretty well but the stock pickups are MEH (BDSM or something like that).

So you like the real BC.Rich stuff and not the Thrash/Death Metal models. Have a look at these chaps, Great band, technically insane but my, my some fugly ass axe's and basses on parade (Doubt you'll dig the vocals but check out the bass players dexterity :O :

(BC.Rich Days, Older Line-Up)
(All that whilst grunting/screaming on a 37" scale-length bass...Quality player indeed, Again the recent line-up but it seems baldy aka cookie monster has an ESP/LTD Brain extractor ;) )
(newer, different line-up/ESP/LTD endorsement it seems)

But they can play whatever the heck they want and i imagine that those BC Rich's are USA Custom shop jobs and not they cheapo £300 carp they look so similar to from quick glances. Love that band, A big influence and way ahead of thier time doing what they were doing when death metal was becoming a bit stagnant at Dying Fetus's peak and the new stuff puts all that junk 'Deathcore' crap to shame, Actually i would say that they are probably very much the daddies of Deathcore indirectly. So they be sons of bitches no riches
Another old flame:
and possibly the biggest, Poland's best:

So yeah two very different BC Richs like two seperate companies, Probably is after Burni sold? I don't know but i love Death Metal and that is a small fraction of what would go on forever and ever if i don't stop now

Ramble on and cheers :tu:

If you can live with the graphics, This one is a nice guitar IMHHO and its a baritone :) Sounds like this:
but yeah a s/h Korina explorer is more desirable i guess or even an ESP/LTD Snakebyte (overatted metallica idiot James Hetfield's newest sig model but this time its good, Non of that Truckster fail):

http://www.espguitars.com/guitars/signa ... ebyte.html Very slick neck. vs this god awful shit heap: http://www.espguitars.com/guitars/signa ... kster.html

Well done on Epiphone for doing something different for once that is actually decent :tu:

BTW: Hink as you love MS, Here is a modern player whom very much wears the Schenker influence on his sleeve. Doubt the band's vocal will be your sort of thing but Michael Amott is great a those melodic solos and his younger brother Chris is technically awesome, Another good guitar duo for sure i think:
and so on if you enjoy his solos/playing

Oh and hibidy as Japanese craftsman ship is your thing, Dude you owe it to yourself to try a Caparison such as Chris Amott's signature model based on the Dellinger model, Fantastic guitars

or Hink with a Gibson Les Paul special
I've seen weirder things happen in vintage white ... :P

While a Warlock leaves me cold indeed, I'm not completely immune against Mockingbirds or Eagles, I'm afraid. :scared:
And Hink liking Gary Moore ...

The owls are not what they seem,
susan wright
 Fair play, I was kind of getting used to susanwrong but yeah 2/3 times is enough my friend, I think it started regarding BaxterEQ at like 3 in the morning, No reason but i was basically hoping it was what you asked on Herb's blog/site and turned out you were (w)right mate :)

what's wrong with liking gary moore?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

It's time for the truth. :-o
I believed it myself for a long time, but it just isn't true. :(
He ain't himself. :scared:
His real name is Moses Mo, he never played with Skid Row, he never played with Colosseum II or Jack Bruce, he's been one of Mother's Finest and a Songdog belonging to Carl Carlton, that's about it.
The truth can be brutal, afaik he isn't even Irish ...
But not all is lost, rejoice, I have never ever seen him with a Les Paul ! :tu:
It had to be revealed one day,
sorry,

After The War is an album i grew up on so nowt wrong with the Gary Moore (R.I.P) Parisienne Walkways is just a bit cheddar, Though i still have Ballad & Blues and alot more. I kind of like the pomp/epicness of Over The Hills And Far Away mind and its a Hammer (in the video at least)

Yeah, Mike and Chris sound really good on those two vids that is for sure..like how those two interact on the pieces ...

mmmmmm...what would be a good copy? :help:
- US Hamer, great guitars but not cheap
- any set neck MIJ copy, some korinas among them, even some nitro models afair
- Gordon Smith used to do a fantastic, affordable mahogany one
- maybe even the MIK Epis, though I personally don't get along with them
- many smaller builders might do you a one-off on request

re metallic versions better rely on Dean, there also are a lot.
ymmv,
