I am building a DAW.

I imagine the first beta is a year away,
if I get some good sessions in.

As I go along, I will post the modules/components,
as they r VSTi/fx
I will try to keep it affordable and it will be similar to Reaper,
uncrippled, but obligated to get a license after a certain time.
Hopefully it will be quite good fer other genres than techno too.
I'm looking forward to it.
Many headaches and debugging, but it'll be fun.
Will make bass and guitar for the multi-sampler myself also.
The Roland drum instruments will be based on the d16 ones,
as long as I can sort it out w/- d16.

this sounds really interesting especially because i have just gotten usine too and learning how it works,so its good to know and interesting to know that usine will be used in this:)

i know me and a couple of other guys on the usine forum are looking into the possibilities to build a sort of session view(ableton live)entirely in usine,so usine is indeed powerfull

can i ask what you use or intent to use usine for in this?

Usine will be the place where I combine all my elements.
Most of them will be built in SynthMaker,
and it looks like xlutop chainer will be an essential element.
So the standalone music creation tool will be a Usine workspace export as .exe .
Cool nay, I will share my stuff in the user library prolly if it's up to scratch

Hope u find some of it interesting at that.
Interested to see what u come up with SNS,
I see one of the accomplished devs is helping u on the Usine forum

I would like to build a turntable type VST if that's any help to playing live.
