is it too late to add ( high shelf / low shelf ) filtering upstream of each effect ? Since the primary filters are in parallel, if you select other than low pass, the extreme highs alway slip thru into the effects. also, there may be a desire to put the phaser effect on only the highs, that sort of thing.

good idea, pummel. that would be a sweet addition indeed.pummel wrote:...or maybe just a switch to put the filters in series; that would not add any CPU

Cool idea. The way I see it, it would be a "to filter 2" slider on the "filter1" page. This would control the amount of "filter1 output" sent into filter 2.
Thinking of it, there could even be a similar control on the filter 2 page... so you could have some cross-input between the 2 filters.... I don't have the slightest idea how it would sound like, though...
but it's worth trying...

while you are playing with the filter code, is there any chance of adding a peak limiter, and possibly drive also? perhaps this could be implimented as an extension of the waveshaper; a mode that affects the filter feedback loop (if there is such a thing).

Been busy coding
At this stage I could probably release a Rhino 1.99... But it'd like to get all the new features in before releasing Rhino 2. Otherwise it would mean new updates every week... So this means some more delay... But it'll be worth it, judging from the new stuff I've been hearing from Daniel

It sounds like this is going to be a mighty update of rhino indeed.
