Wow, unexpected! I'm very positively surprised! Seems to address a lot of the gripes I had with EQuality.
I do hope the max range is more than the 18db pictured in the screenshot.
The name leads me to believe that this would be a "lite" version of EQuality but what I'd be looking for most is full EQuality features with this new GUI

Yep, EQuality DSP. Sounds perfect all day long. Good times.maxxxter wrote:I'd like to speculate the opposite, with "Quick" simply meaning a faster workflow, but we'll see what Dave has to say about it all.Liero wrote:

But this must be the sexiest looking piece of software I've ever seen. (Yes - I'm allowed to concentrate on the GUI because I'm confident that sound-wise it will deliver).

Well, if you already own EQuality, or you buy it before EQuick comes out, it'll be free.

I concur. That is one SEXY gui.
That looks to be one heckuva freebie (well, for us EQuality people, anyway). I can't wait to put it through its paces

Very nice. Looks like I may not be needing ApEQ anymore.
Will EQuick have a fixed number/types of bands like EQuality or will we be able to add new filters freely?

Yeah, it seems to be the Pro-Q killer! GUI looks very, very good. It seems Dave also improved the M/S handling (but I cannot see on the small image what he changed)
Wow and it's free for existing EQuality users
After this "quick EQ" I wished something similar with Compassion! A easy to use compressor without so much parameters, eventually some analog modeled stuff (I remember to the Sonalksis SV315) but with some new ideas from Dave
Is there some ETA for the release or for a beta for existing users? It seems most of the EQ is always ready?
