Sweet! I love it when we pull somebody (like me!) out of retirement!andjac1963 wrote:Just uploaded my effort, might have another go if I find the time, September looking busy from now on in.

43! We're back in business. Hear a little teaser of our very own quick and dirty percussive sounds (with a little extra added spice courtesy of YEIZON feat. YDG under CC-BY-NC 3.0 license).gorgorgathgorgorgor wrote:42!IrionDaRonin wrote: I think this month will be more than 25 tracks, at least.

I made the schoolboy mistake of mastering on my laptop though. Just listened to it on my ipod and it sounds really annoying at the high end. Should be able to find some time to re-master.gorgorgathgorgorgor wrote:Sweet! I love it when we pull somebody (like me!) out of retirement!

@Bzur
Ciao mate, i just wanted to ask you something about your used effects.
I noticed that you always using an effect called DC Blocker.
I could make an idea about it, but i want to know it from you better.
So what is this exactly?
How it works?
It's really useful for you? I mean, do you have problems with DCs so are you using it? Or do you use it just in case?
I always thought that a DC Blocker was only for waves and not for real time synths. So i have this doubt.
And maybe i could use it for my finished Zebralette track before upload it.
Thanks in advance and sorry for bothering.
Have a good day

This is great... I'm working on a submission now.
As a compulsive editor, I thought I'd mention this apparent typo:

Ok, i've got another entry. It's a major reworking of the previous entry. If the 2 entries are redundant, let's please keep this one and delete the 1st one. Thanks.

4 Tracks
FX: Buzmaxi3 Limiter, Bugpass filter, Poor Plate Reverb, Stardust Compressor, Lost Angel Compressor
Kick: Buzmaxi3
Bass: Bugpass, Buzmaxi3
Toy Piano: Bugpass, Buzmaxi3
Strings: Bugpass, Buzmaxi3
Mst: Poor Plate, Stardust, Lost Angel, Buzmaxi3
(edit) notes: in the first version, the lead instruments - left and right - both had a variable attack throughout the piece, so both sides were running a gamut of sounds from pluck/piano to horn/woodwind/strings.
in this 2nd version, i try to; throughout the piece, mimick a toy piano on the left, and strings on the right.

I'm getting the toy piano on the left, and a chorus of nanny goats on the right! Awesome!mrblitz000 wrote:Ok, i've got another entry. It's a major reworking of the previous entry. If the 2 entries are redundant, let's please keep this one and delete the 1st one. Thanks.

I'm not sure which one I like best, the first one is much more violent, but I like the variable attack of the two leads. The second one is easier to listen to, but I love the goats!
