This is killing me! I have Albino, and FreeAlpha, no problem at all to get midi with those, but for some reason RMV wont get it?? The midi track lights up when I hit my keys, but no sound. I can trigger the pads with the mouse, but even when I just lay midi notes down on a another track and copy that track over, RMV refuses to be triggered! I have RMV set at midi channel 10, and in Ableton my Axiom 25 is set to channel 10, but i have used every midi channel avail from 'all' to '16'. Nothing will trigger by midi!! I can trigger midi in Cubase, but Ableton seems a no go? What am I doing wrong??

it's (5.0.3 8 stereo 8 mono version) working ok in live804 on xp32sp3 here - i just inserted it & my padkontrol triggers it straight away, i didn't change any settings at all (so it's on all ins/all channels) - are your live midi preferences ok?

Yup, everything is ok but RMV, all other VSTs, as I said, work fine. Drop em in ableton and go. Its only RMV. I have no idea what the prob is!!!

If you program some notes in the piano roll (assuming Live uses one, I don't know) does it play those notes?
Also worth checking the note numbers, since the keyboard is not full size you might just need to switch octave.
Just a coujpleof suggestions.

Thanks, but still the same. I need peter to jump in here, give me an idea whats going on!! No matter what i do, no notes will play. Once again, i can trigger pads, mousewise, but cant trigger them by midi! Its works fine in my cubase, (older vers, 3.114 or something like that), but since Ableton has been my main seq, I dont use cube anymore!

Back from vacation, sorry for the delay...

What version of Live you run, on Mac or PC ? Whats your operating system ?

When you send MIDI to a pad, does the pad light up (provided a sample is loaded or its a synth pad) ?

Have you set (for now) the pads to channel "ALL" in the RMV setup (just to make sure we talk about the same ALL setting) ?
