Hats off to Ian ! Kraklin goodies.
I do believe he has actually kept the thread alive.
Rejoice, rejoice.
And thanks to all the devs for keeping me off the old street corners during the riots.

Don't get too excited, Bel is mildly interesting, Drawwave is an idea that has since been overtaken by third-party modules, Khazoo is a waste of time and Brat was when I was still learning SynthEdit so the same as a thousand other 'me-too' efforts out there. Anyway in the spirit of this thread, any other oldies that I dig up will be posted on here.

thanks ian, very much appreciated...i think we've milked most of the dust bunnies out there out of the crooks and nannies of the net at this point...and between those of us on this thread have probably got damn near every vst or vsti ever produced at this point!

Well, i didn't get too excited firstly because i read your post.
Today i tested those 4.
Since i didn't found Khazoo thingie interesting or useful (to me).
The other three are really great.
But i'm mostly impressed with Bel and Brat, very organic and with a nice alive texture, very rich in harmonics.
They both got into my favourites VSTis folder and i will use them in a future for my ambient tracks, no doubt.
So thanks for sharing those, Ian.
You should make 'big brothers' Vstis of these two, seriously.
Have a good day

apparently some directive about not posting things that
are 'new' now exists, as opposed to posting stuff that is
genuinely 'old'. not one that has been observed much to
date, though.
('what?!! do you mean i can't have a new synthesizer to
play with every day of the week?!!!!')
so can that directive be rescinded or ignored?

I can't sit in front of a computer without playing guitar or making a plugin. So I guess I'll link to some stuff on my website
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34713525/DelayWall.rar
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34713525/Ugle.rar
delay wall is up to 4 delays, and then you can run them into a trancegate.
Ugle is the ck degrader module, with a crossover to drop out some lows first, also has a distortion mode, also a rectifier compressor.

My god, i start reading this thread how many free synths are there anyway?
And maybe more important, what is still missing? not that I have anything
but you never know.
Very good work anyway.

that's fuckin' crazy. most of these lost gems are all made by small developers and are never heard of WITHOUT BEING HERE IN THIS THREAD...i'll continue to post new, old, or indifferent vst/i's here as long as i find them. how many literally countless plugs have we rescued from obscurity and an early grave?mztk wrote:apparently some directive about not posting things that

that's why we're here....the crazy bastards that leave no stone unturned looking for the occaisional prize, overlooked by the cyber overlords, or forgotten by them and pined for by some.
no worries. if ya find them, and post them, people will come. i see stuff out there all the time not featured by kvr...why? it's not that kvr is searching them out...they expect these small guys to come to them i guess. folks should just chill, and let us do what we do. that's why there's now literally thousands of these things available again.
rock on, my brothers.
