Anyone who wants to try can always email him. It's not a closed beta.

It's restricted to current ValhallaRoom owners - I'm not doing the demo builds with the new stuff until all the bugs are worked out. It looks like I'll need to do one more beta build. *sigh*

No, that's fine. However, that seems to be an artifact of how things work with Audio Units. For some reason, during the actual resizing process, the AU GUI will resize in a very jerky way. VSTs, on the other hand, are smooth during resizing. I asked Jules in the Juce forum about this (I use Juce for the GUI), and his answer was "It's an Audio Unit thing."

As long as the glitches just happen during resizing, and settle down, I'm ok with that.

I just got ValahallaRoom which is brilliant, but I have to confess that I am still a Shimmer junkie. Yes, I know, any effect carries the danger of being overused, but there's just something about Shimmer...

Sean you weren't kidding about adding a bunch of presets to the beta! There are a boatload in the Den folder.

I'll throw in a suggestion for the presets though - milder mix settings. The first thing I do with each preset is drag down the mix to something less extreme.

Click the "MIX" label above the Mix slider. It locks the mix level to whatever the slider is set at while you browse through the presets. I figured it made sense to set the presets up as sends, and that people using the effect as an insert would just use the Mix Lock feature.

I'm not sure. I've sended Sean 2 Emails yesterday about sending me the beta version.
But no answer from him. :?

I just found your email. Sorry about the delay - I was working until midnight last night on the latest beta, and had to have my head down in bash scripts and the installer builds. I've sent beta links to the most likely suspect of being you.

:D
