Great Instrument! My problem though is that I can't get it to receive MIDI. I have the latest build. I'm using an Alesis io Dock, recognized by Core Audio on my desktop. Using Logic, I set up a MIDI instrument sending to all channels, and I'm able to control GarageBand for the iPad, so MIDI is getting through (USB). Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Ned

Hey Ned! Thanks for trying out GrainBender! I've been following your various writings on synths on the net for a long time. I'm honored that you find it interesting. I'm sorry to hear that it's giving you some trouble with midi.
I know users have been successful using GrainBender via midi USB but I'm not sure if anyone's tried it through the Alesis dock. At least I haven't had any direct reports and I don't have a dock yet myself to try it.
Do you have any other hosts you can try? I can't think of any reason that Logic would cause any unique problems with midi but I suppose it's possible.
Please contact me at info@burgerkone.com directly if you have time to hash this out in a little more detail.

Thanks for the update , kuniklo. I bought it and its a very fine synth with a great sound and groundbreaking easy automation.
Keep up the good work.
Don't know your further priorities if any but a way to control Grainbender with either Genome by virtue of virtual midi ports or an inbuildt arp/step would indeed be welcome in time.

Thanks very much for buying GrainBender! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it.Locus M wrote: Don't know your further priorities if any but a way to control Grainbender with either Genome by virtue of virtual midi ports or an inbuildt arp/step would indeed be welcome in time.
I definitely intend to explore supporting virtual midi ports. Some kind of built-in sequencer is also a possibility although I'm also considering a new product with sequencing as a more central feature.
