I've found this as well in patches that just have 2 looping node points in the display with no option to remove either. Solution I've found is to add an extra node, it then gives you the option to remove the others. Don't know if that's the best way to do it but it works

Please, do it :)
Hehe! Well, it's all dependent upon how much interest there is... so, any more takers?

(did I mention that the winner gets their choice of u-he software? ;) )

You mean in the MSEG? You simply make the last point of the envelope into the loop point. Right-click the last point and tell it to be both loop end and start :)

It doesn't give me that option (just having the end point be loop end and the start point be loop start).

But I found a basic workaround. :)

Return to Modern Retro, deleted from the group finally.
I prefered just one track by month.
The track continues in my Soundcloud account (at the moment) in case you want to listen it or download it.

Have a good day :)

Zebralette sure seems to inspire you a lot, Irion :-D
I have so little time this month - I hope I can do a track, too; for now I only experimented with it for like an hour and I have the first few seconds and a very vague idea about a track I want to create.... well, we'll see :-D
Intersting stuff from you, either way :-)

Did you do the artwork for the image? :hail:

Thanks for your comment, mate.
I hope you can finish a track for this month.
And yes, Zebralette will be part of my equip from now. I like the sound, the FX filters, the modulation and how gritty, powerful and electronic can sound.
Also with spectral synthesis and for free.
What more can you ask for? :)

Have a good day :)

Well, not the whole thing, i usually take parts, images, brushes from the net, google, etc. And make a mix modifing all of them with a graphic editor program.

I like the Art in all aspects; painting, writting, composing and photography.
Long time without painting, or even writting, because i prefer expend my time making music, i think is the best form to express my feelings.

In this case, i just took an image which fits perfect with the title (i love cyborgs) and i changed somethings, position, colors, added the text, etc.
But for example i made from zero my banner, my Myspace upper graphic, and things like this.

An ex-girlfriend.

My actual girlfriend, a great pal. Hm, i should use them for next tracks artworks, hehe.

This is how i see the world, how i see persons, in my dreams, and while daydreaming.

Sorry for dissapoint you this time about the artwork.

Now, please, let's talk about tracks, OSC and Zebralette. :hihi:
I don't usually talk too much about my deep things or feelings, really. (except if people are interested on it)

Well, have a good day :)

No dissapointment!
Putting things together to make new things is still art.
You're a graphic re-mixer. I enjoy it nonetheless :D

I've uploaded my second sumbission for OSC 32, "Virgo's eyes", dedicated to the beautiful galaxies NGC 4435 e NGC 4438, in the virgin constellation.

Made with:
- Cubase Studio 4,
- 30 Zebralette instances.
- Melda DC blocker, Ferric Tds and TLs maximizer on master bus.
- TLs maximizer as insert, in two tracks.
- 3xTAL Reverb2 and 1xTAL DUB II on send.

Hope you like it.
Cheers!

New improved version of B.E.C track. Please download it again

If someone prefer the old version, well, go ahead.

The kicks sounded too nasty and very "organic", so i killed the high frecuencies from them and made a more normal innorganic "subby" kick, so the background pads and melodies now sounds a bit more clear.
I wanted to sound big and fat, but i think i exceeded myself with the kicks.
Thanks to Bzur and 3ee for the tips and guide me in the good way. :tu:

I deleted the older track, i can't have a premium Soundcloud account right now. Sorry for all the comments that were in Soundcloud.
Feel free to comment again (or not, hehe) if you have time. :)

Have a good day :)

I thought I was doing pretty good until Irion and Bzur knocked it out of the park. I gotta figure out how to get clean sounds like that. However, I will admit I like a distorted heavy electric sound.

I'm interested on this technique: could you please tell me more in detail about it?

Post

@Bzur
I think he meant both snares, one on the left, and the other to the right in the panoramic. For more width. That's why he called mirrored.
But let's wait for his explanation.

I have a question for all of you.
How many dB headroom space do you usually let before mastering your tracks?

Have a good day :)
