so im figuring its an output issue?
anyone know if its likely to be a simple fix or am i best paying someone?

Take it to a shop unless you are very familiar with diagnostic work

diagnostics? easy, open 'er up, plug it in, get someone else to poke around with a screwdriver :)

ive never opened up a multi in/stereo out, im just wondering if my assumption is correct, ie multi parallells into one serial stereo out? ie not complicated, or if it gets more complicated for the stereo out?
and if my theory of it being the master rather than all the channels is a viable one :)

dont worry hinkster, i kinda know what im doin :hihi: kinda...

well the chances of all the channels developing the same issue all at once is pretty slim imho so yes being in the master out is possible because all signals come together.

But then it could be a transformer as well or it could just be a loose nut in front of the controls :hihi:

I could get my friend Paul to have a look at it for you John, For free course. That would mean coming over to yours (which i am planning soon anyway, ill at the moment but should be good again soon), Taking it home, Taking it over to Pauls (which i do every week anyway), Leaving it with him for a week (if its a simple to sort problem or something bigger then he will be able to say in a day or so) and then get it back from him and then back over to you. So it would take a while due to me no car and you know travelling around but the offer is there if you are not wanting to spend anything on it mate
