I had no idea that is was available on mac. I've always wanted to try it and it's awesome.

I'm also using a free VST to AU wrapper to use it in logic and I'm stunned. It sounds amazing and hardly takes up any cpu. How is this possible?

Also, there are absolutely tons of free incredible presets available for it. The only downside is that it looks a tad ugly but really, just try it.

I have no mac, but it's great that Synth1 is now a cross-platform synth.
About the look, Synth1 has a clean layout and you can customize the colors and resize the gui, not many synths can do that.

Have fun with Synth1!

It`s not a bug... it`s a feature!

Just to be clear. The VST is a native osx version. The AU wrapper allows you to use the native mac version in logic.

@RexXx. I hope someone releases these types of tools for the mac.

On the website it says 10.7 - does it only work in Lion?

Btw., Presonus Studio One Pro also supports AU and VST2/3 plugins.

@Krakatau

I'm on Lion at the moment. I've no idea if it will run on a lower revision os but it probably would.

@RexXx

Those are nice skins. :)

cool! and native-au is in developement and could be released in less than a month (if google-translate doesn't lie :hihi: )
haven't used this for years (since i'm on mac), but it would be nice to use this in logic (don't want to use a wrapper) :)

That's great news about the au version as the wrapper doesn't seem to let you use the 'write' option from the synth. You can of course justs save in logic but it's not the same.

WOW!!! I can't believe it!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

I'm missing this synth since late 2008 when I switched to mac! :love: :love: :love:
