Just tried the demo again.. holy moly this thing is impressive!! The Narcissus algorithm is wicked!
Here's a quick guitar noodle I cooked up in about 15 minutes showcasing Narcissus (please excuse my crappy playing. All was done in a single take so please excuse the mistakes and brain farts!). Notice how when the demo fades out the reverb from the solo guitar it loses all the soul?
A little noodle
I'm always so amazed how much a high quality reverb does to a track. Incredible value for money this thing. Will be buying it for sure.
Cheers!

Yup, sounds good bmanic, and I made the same discovery a few days ago. I already owned VRoom but still hadn't used it in a track... I've been using nothing but Altiverb for many years. Anyhow, I tweaked a Narcissus space on my latest track and thought it fit really nicely.

Tried this for the first time on the weekend -- wow, so nice, will probably replace Breeze as my go-to reverb.
Here is a suggestion for the next update: suppose the mix is set to, say, 15% wet. When a new preset is selected, have that load also at 15% wet. Right now ever preset loads 100% wet. I can see why this is so, but makes it tough to A/B ( and C/D/E... etc ) when one already knows roughly what mix level is desired, and wants to check quickly scroll through a number of presets.

You an already do this - set your level and click the label "Mix" above the meter to grey it out.lingyai wrote:Tried this for the first time on the weekend -- wow, so nice, will probably replace Breeze as my go-to reverb.

Not really. I did try it immediately after release but I had just bought a bunch of other reverb plugins so I was out of money. I also felt pretty much "komplete" with Ariesverb. The room algorithms in Valhalla room did not impress me enough to start begging the wife for money (I know.. but it happens sometimes!loopdon wrote: You are a little late to the show
