Anyone got one of these yet? I didn't think they had actually been released because all the places I tried to order from stated the end of September for stock. Anyway, looks very similar to Line 6's MIDI Mobilizer except it has a 'Thru' port as well as In/Out.

Don't forget you can also CHARGE your iOS device while using iRig Midi. Shouldn't be too much longer now though.... ;)

When, Obik, when?! I want to charge my iPad whilst using Genome MIDI & Poly Step Arp whilst controlling my hardware & doing that fancy thru thing!! Got my iRig MIDI on order. No word on shipping yet though. I heard end of September. Is this still the case? Muuuaahhhhh!!! :x

I'm a bit disappointed as they didn't add the ability to trasmit midi to the computer thru usb as wel. Would have been really useful for all the midi/osc apps. I find going thru wifi not so convenient.
If it had that option I'd have bought it eyes closed.

I guess a lot of people don't have MIDI interfaces on their computers these days ..... do they?! I couldn't be without mine. But iPad 2 with IK iRig & some appropriate Apps & I'll be controlling stuff on the computer. Oh yes, oh yes  TouchOSC here I come. I don't dig the MIDI over wi-fi thing either.

Neither can Digital Village. In the interim I have cancelled my pre-order. I'll order again when this thing actually hits the streets. Best guestimate is late September but this look unlikely now given everyone's reluctance to give a firm date when the end of September is just around the corner! :?

Actually it was already announced on our Facebook page:

"We plan to start shipping next week if everything goes well, the app should be on iTunes the week after (pending Apple approval...)"

Oh. So why couldn't you say that here?! :?

Since this is made to be used with software like Sampletank for iOS (which I'm really looking forward to BTW), I don't understand why IK didn't take the opportunity to incorporate a decent DAC and a stereo out in iRig. As it is, we'll be forced to use the less-than-stellar headphone output, which IMO doesn't cut it in a real live setup.
